I have a paid subscription to PVPN for two years and it was fine. I am also a subscriber to the email. • The interface is one of the best I've come across. It shows you a world map with all the possible locations to connect to. • The free version is the best among all VPNs I've tried. No advertisements, and no daily limit. • Excellent security and privacy. I can safely say that I haven't had to share personal information while using ProtonVPN. • Flexible subscription plans. It provides a seamless web browsing experience without compromising personal data. Browse internet without exposing identity. Reliable and fast servers with low ping. In their privacy policy it tells that that never sell it save your data which is very rare in VPN service. No data loss or ping issue while playing online games. I got ProtonMail's VPN to better protect myself online, and I'm happy to say that unlike some of the other free VPN solutions out there, ProtonMail actually works! I tried looking up my IP address before and after, and the geolocation feature definitely works. I also like how ProtonMail, on Windows desktop at least, lets you decide if you want all your traffic routed through its servers or just some.		Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros There are many good geos, fast connection, and the regular updates are also a plus. I can recommend this service. It's super easy to use, really easy to understand, and it works! I love that it's an extension and I can turn it off and on really easily. I like the "concept" that I am securely connected to a VPN when I am away from the home, or at a coffee shop. Relatively cheap for amount of features offered; blocks ads; works w/ Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime. Surfshark is strong VPN which unblocks almost every geographically blocked service of any country through its large servers network. Cons They removed RU, BY, and similar geos. They seemed to be available before, but now I can’t find them. That’s disappointing. I literally can't think of any. You can't really connect via more than 1 country it seems. It has also automatically turned back on after a session when I didn't want it to. SurfShark has been generally slow and unstable. Many sites like Amazon, just fails to load. So I have to disconnect SurfShark, then go to Amazon. I'm constantly disconnecting and reconnecting. Really frustrating. Freezing where page refuses to load. I disconnect and the page loads. Server choice limited to country, can select city in some cases. Although VPN service of Surfshark is great but the recently launched smart DNS service is useless and doesn't works at all.
