About

Proton Mail is the simplest way to protect your communications with built-in end-to-end encryption. Prevent data breaches, stay compliant with regulations like GDPR and HIPAA, and earn client trust. Protected by Swiss privacy laws and trusted by over 50,000 businesses, Proton Mail keeps your business data confidential and under your control. With Proton Mail and Calendar, your team can securely manage their inbox and schedule, while your organization maintains a professional presence with support for custom email domains and personalized branding. And with the Easy Switch tool, migrating from Google or Microsoft is seamless, no IT expertise required.

About

SuperMailOS is managed business email on your own domain for small teams. You bring your domain; SuperMailOS runs the mail server and handles deliverability — SPF, DKIM, DMARC, IP reputation, and warmup — so your email lands in the inbox, not the spam folder. Setup takes minutes: verify your domain with one-click DNS on Cloudflare, DigitalOcean, and other providers (or guided copy-paste on any registrar), invite your team, and start sending. Every person gets a real mailbox; aliases like hello@ and support@ are unlimited and free. Webmail is as simple as Gmail — threads, instant search, keyboard shortcuts, labels, dark mode — plus IMAP and SMTP for any mail app, and a live deliverability dashboard showing your mail landing. Flat pricing per mailbox: Pro $3/mailbox/month annually (10 GB, 3 domains), Business $5 (30 GB, unlimited domains), custom at 50+. 14-day free trial, no credit card.

Pros from Real Users

Pros

  • All tools in one place — Mail, Drive, VPN, Calendar — make work simple and efficient. Seamless sync across devices keeps everything smooth and effortless, with flexible plans for any need.
  • Trustworthy service from Switzerland. So its Europe. proton meets all legal requirements, so it is perfect for business. Availability is very good.
  • I like the fact that it was constructed around account safety and it has a fresh interface. It has a lot of features and it is quite affordable for regular users.
  • - Easy to use, - Open source, - Possible to use with a custom domain (requires a premium subscription), - Privacy orientated (something truly rare these days!)
  • The web client is great for all my needs, and ProtonMail is a privacy-respecting e-mail provider, based on Switzerland.
  • The # draw is that this is a secure, privacy-focused email alternative. It also has a very sleek interface.
  • Can encrypt if you want, or not. All settings are available and it is easy to set up everything. Have a free version that I am currently using and it is not restricted in any way. Allows for two-factor authorization.
  • ProtonMail offers encrypted emails, so it's a good option for those looking for a more private, secure email service compared to the bigger ones out there like Gmail and Outlook. It's got fairly priced options, and the free version isn't too bad either.
  • I love that my emails are end to end encrypted. I found out that Gmail reads my emails and I quickly signed up for the free version.
  • Open source Easy to use Good security and privacy Multi level security and encryption Free tier Mobile version alongside web version
