Procare vs. Seedling Comparison Chart

Pros

• I LOVE the accounting side and how desktop keeps reports organized. How the families and children are all in one spot. However they failed to make sure the new staff knows both online and desktop and confused to many things. Online specialist lack the ability to show me how to streamline and move to online app. Data and forms are clunky and reports don't convert to a readable pdf like desktop does it goes to a spreadsheet. 6 months of frustration and cannot get it right. After ten years I left.
• The app is user friendly in most aspects. It allows both the parent and the teacher to communicate on the go, and parents can get updates on their child all day via their phone. The customer support is always amazing. They work on an issue until they get it resolved.
• I like how everything is linked together. From the administration to the classroom and even billing Procare is a one stop shop.
• I like that it is easy to select activities for children to share with parents and guardians. Parents are easily able to send messages to the classroom as well to let teachers know if they will be late or if their child will not be in attendance that day. As a parent, I enjoy getting the email summary at the end of each day.
• I love as a parent that I can message just the admin team or the teachers directly. It is a nice way for privacy purposes.
• At CCDP, we appreciate how Procare streamlines the complex demands of multi-site child care management. The platform makes it easy to track attendance, manage tuition, and communicate with families—all in one place. What we like most is how Procare helps us stay compliant while saving time. The reporting tools are clear and customizable, which is essential for audits and subsidy documentation. Staff find the interface intuitive, and families love the mobile access. It’s a system that supports both operational excellence and meaningful connection.
• I really like the ability to send parents pictures or their children and updates for their activities. I love that one software package can provide everything that is needed to run a daycare center's daily activities.
• I had the pleasure of working with Renae J, and she went above and beyond to help me with my issues. She was patient, knowledgeable, and truly cared about making sure everything was resolved quickly and correctly. It’s rare to find such dedicated customer service these days, and I really appreciate the time and effort she took to make things right. Thank you, Renae, and thank you Procare Solutions for having such amazing support staff! — Jessica Morales, Center Director, Around The Clock Learning Center
