About

The world’s largest digital marketplace for crypto collectibles and non-fungible tokens (NFTs), including ERC721 and ERC1155 assets. Buy, sell, and discover exclusive digital assets like Axies, ENS names, CryptoKitties, Decentraland, and more. Building brand new economies powered by true digital ownership. OpenSea is the first and largest marketplace for user-owned digital goods, which include collectibles, gaming items, domain names, digital art, and other assets backed by a blockchain. At OpenSea, we're excited about a brand new type of digital good often referred to as a non-fungible token, or NFT. NFTs have exciting new properties: they’re unique, provably scarce, liquid, and usable across multiple applications. Just like physical goods, you can do whatever you want with them! You could throw them in the trash, gift them to a friend across the world, or go sell them on an open marketplace. But unlike physical goods, they're armed with all the programmability of digital assets.

About

Panini has been in the collectible business for more than six decades now, from books, comics, magazines, stickers, trading cards, sticker albums, and other items through its collectibles To carry forward the legacy of Panini Collectibles into the digital era, Panini is leveraging the innovative technology of Blockchain & providing users with: Highest degree of legitimacy for the digital collectible they own and proof of ownership. All Panini Blockchain cards are tied to the most stable currency, the US Dollar. Having a stable currency as the basis of our Blockchain cards allows the value of the cards to be driven by the demand for the card, also known as the collector market, the same way our physical cards gain or lose value.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • It's supposedly the top dog but I don't see it. The bigger collections are there but they're on Rarible as well.
  • Uploading NFTs into a collection is easy. The app for the phone runs nicely. I like Coinbase Wallet to use with it.
  • OpenSea seems like it has won the market in terms of being the gold standard of where to buy and sell NFTs. Interface works well, everything is easy to use.
  • Nothing.
  • Great site. But not that easy to use & navigate. I know they are new so maybe they will get better. But if u can send payment & not get anything the. They can’t help cause of blockchain them is this new form of payment that good idk. At least at a store with receipt u get refund or credit. Here nothing & I have copy of success transaction.

Cons

  • Zero support, zero acknowledgment of help tickets. You're completely on your own so pray nothing goes wrong and what you buy actually shows up. Absolutely forget about trying to get verification. I'm on month four of their "up to 5 business days" to review. All of my other social medias are verified so there shouldn't be a problem...but I wouldn't know if there is because they don't bother responding to ANYTHING.
  • Trying to list NFTs for sale, even if you do have the hundreds of dollars for gas, results in an eternal wait to initialize your wallet. I waited all day. Nothing. No response from customer service. RIP.
  • Sometimes the site is a bit slow but other than that I don't have any issues with it. Support takes a while to get back to you.
  • Impossible to navigate. No assistance. Many people say they purchase and do not receive the item. Not even worthy of a single star.
  • I purchased Saitama inu NFT yesterday & never got it. They say nothing they can do. Terrible business. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻😡😡😡

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • I (NotoriousBAZ) love this platform, the collectibles, its ease of use and its community. Blockchain model based on Trading Card collecting for sports cards of NBA, NFL, MLB, UFC. Soccer, Hockey and more. Valuable NFTs are (allegedly lol) divided randomly between packs if various tiers of value. Weekly/Monthly challenges that gift cards and have pack giveaways attached are a great thing they do also which I actually won this week! Amazing Discord community that is helpful and generous - lots to get involved with Easy to sell on their secondary market with PayPal connection to receive money from sales and auctions instantly. Website is being upgraded with new features and crypto linking coming soon!

Cons

  • App is a little cumbersome if uploading more than one NFT into the auction or gallery but this is being worked out so not a con for long! Needs more users to hopefully give more value to properties, again which is building so not a con for long!
