About

Opal Security is an identity governance platform designed to control access across human users, AI agents, applications, service accounts, and infrastructure. The platform provides a centralized governance layer for evaluating access requests, enforcing policy, reviewing entitlements, and managing privileged access. Its Paladin AI can assess requests, evaluate risk, recommend or make decisions, and escalate cases to human reviewers while showing the reasoning behind each action. Opal supports just-in-time access that can be granted only when needed and automatically revoked when the work is complete. AI-assisted access reviews analyze entitlements and supporting evidence to recommend approval or removal decisions with an auditable record. The platform can be deployed in Opal’s cloud, a customer-managed environment, virtual machines, or Kubernetes, with searchable logs for access changes and administrative activity.

About

Zerostand is a self-hosted privileged access management platform for security and IT teams managing access to servers, databases, web consoles and workload identities. It grants short-lived, policy-checked access to people and services, with approval chains, configurable access windows, ticket checks and MFA. The platform brokers supported SSH, RDP, database and web sessions, and provides a vault for accounts that still require passwords, with scheduled rotation and verification. Workload identity integrations let services authenticate through Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud or OIDC. Administrators can discover accounts, run recertification campaigns and export audit evidence. Zerostand runs as containers on infrastructure controlled by the customer, either on premises or in the customer's cloud. Users sign in through supported OIDC identity providers; specific capabilities vary by target system.
