Membee is web-based membership management software that uses automated features to make life easier for employees and volunteers of membership-based organizations. Membee is a wholly-owned subsidiary of IRM-Systems, Inc., a privately-held database software development firm that specializes in serving associations, membership-based organizations, and other not-for-profits. Formed in 1991 with an intention to build membership management software, IRM Systems has steadily expanded over 25 years from a small start-up to an established software provider with over 400 client organizations and thousands of users. We continued to build on this history with the release of Membee in mid-2009, the new fully web-based version of IRM’s industry-leading membership software platform. We took a liking to the little bee and decided to rebrand putting the little guy out front because we liked what he (could be a “she” – we’re not sure) stood for – hardworking, smart, and part of a greater community.
