Concepts NREC’s MAX-PAC™ family of CAM software provides optimal cutter-path solutions for turbomachinery components by offering users several cutting strategies that can reduce engineering costs as well as production costs. MAX-PAC is available in any combination of modules to suit part geometry requirements for flank milling of ruled-surface blading, point milling of arbitrary-surface blading, point milling of integrally shrouded impellers, or milling of single blades. MAX-PAC has long been recognized as the best CAM software for 5-axis milling of turbomachinery impellers, blisks, and rotors, and enjoys a strong worldwide reputation with manufacturers, job shops, and 5-axis machine-tool companies. Expertise built into these specialized tools incorporates methodologies protected by three separate patents. Compared to other CAM tools, MAX-PAC addresses only turbomachinery, and as a result, it is faster to learn, easier to use, and requires less programming and machining time.

Hole & 2-Axis Tactics can help generate manufacturable toolpaths automatically, cutting programming time by 70%. More than 40 types of machining operations are available to facilitate efficient machining so that you can deal with all kinds of manufacturing work at ease. No matter on Nurbs or STL geometry desired toolpaths, or even undercut toolpaths can be easily generated. 5-axis milling provides a complete solution for indexing and 4 to 5-axis machining, and it's also able to work with STL file. Comprehensive functions, like Swarf, Drive Curve, Drive Surface, Flow Cut, Side Cut and Point Control are available to extend machining capabilities for different scenarios. Numerous verification and simulation tools are delivered to ensure feasible, reliable and safe machining. Solid Verify can be used to simulate the actual machining process and analyze the excess materials, realizing reliable and efficient machining.
