Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • Free version, low cost for LMS, discount for non-profits. Easy self-checkout, auto-adds info for books, music, and movies. There are some reports, and recent updates have helped with many features. It's web-based, so it can be accessed from any device. There is an app for phones that allows managers to check-in and out from anywhere as well as search the catalog. Can scan or use CSV to upload items. Can use CSV or manually input patrons. Can set up separate "libraries" to manage different areas or types of items.

Cons

  • Patron management isn't easy (although it has improved in the last year). Doesn't use MARC records (book info is imported or user-contributed). Reports are limited.
