Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • Simple and easy to use, setup in next to no time. The layout makes it easy to use and follow what is happening.
  • Fantastic tool that allows me to keep all my data up to date on the different platforms I use easily.
  • PieSync keeps data between platforms synced seamlessly. Setup is pretty easy as well as navigating throughout the platform.
  • It is more flexible than any other tool, I can connect any custom field I want.
  • It "just works". No single CRM seems to be effective for the different ends of the business that need one, and the cost of platforms that have multiple kinds of front end so they can claim to do it all is prohibitive. So synchronising the underlying contacts between multiple specialised platforms is an important requirement. Manually implementing and maintaining APIs between multiple platforms ourselves is a complete no-no, so this is perfect to keep our multiple CRMs (plus Google Contacts, so I know who's calling by caller ID alone) properly synchronised.

Cons

  • There was not anything I found annoying, but I can see some getting into issues when trying to set up sync rules, an interactive section here would solve this.
  • The price to pay to have all your potential available is very high. You should review those values.
  • Being added to a team by another user doesn't give you access to look at or work on their syncs, making the team function seem pretty pointless. The login using the verification code sent via email every time is annoying, should switch to a typical email/username and password login. Support can take quite a while sometimes. Have had same day responses which is nice, but have also waited 4-5 days for a response.
  • Updating based on lists would be a great addition.
  • I accidentally added a feature from outside my plan during the trial period - custom field synchronising - which halted the sync when the trial ended. But customer services fixed it same day!

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • Service is very robust and offers freedom in how you set up your automations. The overall system design makes sense and it is pleasant to work with. It gives you tools to solve problems. It is way cheaper then Zapier. Also Make is not limited by "no code" mindset, I appreciate it.
  • Wide Integration Capabilities: Make supports an array of applications, from popular SaaS tools to custom APIs. This connectivity allows you to automate processes across multiple platforms seamlessly. User-Friendly Interface: The drag-and-drop functionality makes it accessible for users with varying levels of technical expertise. Even those with no coding knowledge can create powerful automations quickly. Cost-Effective Pricing: Compared to its competitors, Make offers competitive pricing plans that provide good value for startups and small businesses looking to implement automation without breaking the bank.
  • Very easy to use. Great visual interface. Formation plateform via Make Partners. Almost everything is possible.
  • Easy to use, nice interface, good price for the possibilities ones get, no extra documentation necessary, very good problem handling in case of lost connections.
  • Ease of use. Compatibility with other software & apps. Webhooks & Instant triggers. Timesaving and works "on top" of other other tools.

Cons

  • Steeper learning curve then Zapier, some IT experience is very useful. It is not trivial to chain scenarios and there is no merge/join node.
  • Learning Curve: Although the platform is user-friendly, there is a learning curve when first getting accustomed to its features. Custom Code Limitations: This limitation can be a drawback for developers looking for more advanced automation capabilities. Error Messaging: Some error messages can be vague or difficult to interpret, hindering troubleshooting.
  • Some apps are missing. I don't really see something else in Cons.
  • There is still room for more connected apps. No other cons.
  • No cons that I can think of. It is constantly evolving and more integrations are added every month.
