Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros We had no idea how much of an advantage HCP would be in managing our business for records, history, billing and management. Housecall Pro has helped me grow my business and present professionally in my services. Being a one man operation I look at ways to be as professional as possible, having Housecall Pro is essential in this. My clients love the automated text of their appointments along with when I am en route to their homes. Communication is key in the service industry, HCP saves me tons of phone calls and time spend coordinating my schedule. Professional Appearance, Text Messaging Notifications, Easy to use, so many features that it's sometimes hard to know ALL that it can do for you. I enjoy how easy it is to navigate the schedule, add so many features through their apps, all my techs can see important messages between customer, quick books tabs, reviews, etc. We're HVAC and pros for us are: 1. affordability 2. ease of use 3. integration with other apps 4. marketing features 5. CUSTOMERS LIKE THE SOFTWARE! Cons As we add more employees the scheduling window can be difficult to manage. I would say as a smaller company I don’t have any issues with the software. It does exactly what I need it to do for me. I could see how larger companies may not get all the features they’re looking for, but for me it works well. Lack of Parts Inventory is the biggest complaint. I don’t like that call backs aren’t flagged, I want my csr to be able to reschedule calls without having to go through each call, I don’t like how long the transactions take to hit the bank and I have to add another charge to make it an instant payout, the price to add on additional service techs, the inability to create easier proposals, and SO MUCH MORE. Bookkeeping integration with QuickBooks is tricky. The wait time for the "blue-bubble" user chat is too slow. I've noticed this problem over the last six months, and needs improving.		Pros from Real Users Pros Easy to learn and use right off the bat. This software provided a significant benefit to our TAKE OFF process. The collaborative feature means our estimators across the country can all contribute and monitor the progress of the project. Easily bring up any and all drawings with the click of a mouse, saves bundles on paper and cost. STACK has sped up our takeoffs making them about 4 times faster than before. I also like how their software integrates with Excel which makes it easy for me to finish our estimates and submit our bids. Customer support has been excellent as well - they are there to help me whenever i have a question!
