Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros The team at HedgeGuard has bent over backward to ensure our strategies can be represented in their system. They have build truly cutting edge software that is flexible enough to handle complex instruments and strategies, as well as the crypto ecosystem. Our clients can log into the platform and see their investments, something that sets us apart. The system also generates pdf reports that we send out quarterly. There are many benefits to the HedgeGuard platform. Cons 1. The implementation timeline is long. I think this is common with any PMS migration, and since the crypto ecosystem is complex, it wasn't a surprise to us. It's just something you need to keep in mind. This is why it's important to choose the right team. 2. The product is expensive. Again, since crypto is complex, it's going to be more expensive. That's just the cost of doing business in crypto for now.	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Market Neutral strategy has delivered strong performance across different market conditions. Their risk management is solid and gives us confidence during volatile periods. We consider them a reliable and professional partner in systematic investing. - Super easy to set up — basically connect and let it run. - No stress about emotions or second-guessing trades. - I like that you can split between different strategies once that’s enabled. - Considerably more advanced than the beginner robots that I played with at Binance. - Good for individuals such as me, wishing to own crypto long-term but also receive some active management. I love how Stoic just works in the background without me having to babysit it. The automation is smooth, the algorithms feel solid, and I haven’t had to worry about huge drawdowns (comparing to the market). It’s an stress-free way to stay invested, and I trust it to handle my portfolio without leverage risks. The concept is wonderful, however the execution is completely flawed and doesn't currently work. To put it succinctly this is an ongoing operation to fleece people and anyone who has had funds or crypto misappropriated should file complaints with the appropriate consumer organizations in their jurisdiction. The strategies that I use perform exceptionally well (1 year for market-neutral strategy and around 10 months for index based strategy) and the bot has an easy setup and helpful support Cons We haven't tested other Stoic strategies, so we can't comment on them. We also don't use the retail app: all communication takes place within a Telegram group between our teams. - Sometimes I feel like I’d have been better off just holding BTC, especially in certain markets. - The Meta Long Only strategy doesn't short, so it misses out during falling markets. - The app needs updating − parts of it are unclear or outdated. - Support responses weren’t particularly personal, just generic templates. I really wish there was an “ultimate” strategy that could automatically shift between Meta Long Only, Meta Long Short, and Fixed Income based on Stoic’s market outlook. That would make it perfect. Charges card indefinitely after cancellation (until the card is cancelled with your bank - very inconvenient and illegal). Publishes fake performance on the website that doesn't reflect verified performance of real users. support is non responsive. The UI has some bugs regarding performance visualization that the team hasn't solved for months, so I use exchange interfaces to check the performance.
