About
GrandSpeed goes far beyond the traditional speed test tools which usually only test upload/download speeds. GrandSpeed tests for these and also checks the idle & loaded latency (latency while other activities are happening), jitter, packet loss, and bufferbloat. Amazingly, GrandSpeed also automatically determines the maximum video resolution that you can watch e.g. on Netflix & maximum video resolution at which you can livestream via your internet!. What is more, GrandSpeed also automatically indicates the degree of suitability of your connection for gaming and audio/video calling or conferencing, based on the measured upload speed, latencies and packet loss. The tool also indicates how much data you can download in an hour and also in 24 hours over your connection, which is useful when planning to bulk download files. There is also a Speed Budget calculator to help you determine the minimum internet service that you should subscribe to, based on the variety of devices on your network.

About
SpeedOf.Me is a free, browser-based internet speed test that measures download, upload, latency and jitter on any device: desktop, mobile, tablet, game console, smart TV or car. No app, no plugin, no download. Launched in 2011 as the first HTML5 speed test, it runs a single stream from your browser to neutral CDN edge servers in 130+ locations, so the result reflects real browsing performance instead of a lab-style peak. We call it Real-World Speed.
Developers can embed the same engine with the SpeedOf.Me API: a few lines of JavaScript, white-label, with callbacks for every metric and an analytics dashboard for usage, geography and devices. Ready-to-run examples cover React, Vue, Angular, Electron, Flutter, iOS, Android and more. An MCP server and CLI (@speedofme/mcp) let AI agents and CI pipelines run real speed tests. The Internet Speed Atlas publishes real-world averages for 119 countries.
