About

Global App Testing (GAT) enables tech teams to conduct testing across 189+ countries with a network of over 60,000 professional testers, using real devices and environments. By leveraging the GAT platform, you can streamline your testing process, boost release quality, and accelerate time-to-market while optimizing budget efficiency. The platform is fully integrated to seamlessly work with your existing DevOps or CI/CD tools. Whether you need ongoing QA support or additional resources to manage peak release cycles, GAT’s integration-driven approach allows you to manage your entire testing workflow—from test initiation to results analysis—without leaving your familiar tools like GitHub, Jira, and TestRail. With our integrated platform, both unscripted exploratory testing and scripted functional test execution can be embedded into your CI/CD and SDLC processes, ensuring perfect alignment with your automation testing tools.

About

Selenium automates browsers. That's it! What you do with that power is entirely up to you. Primarily it is for automating web applications for testing purposes, but is certainly not limited to just that. Boring web-based administration tasks can (and should) also be automated as well. If you want to create robust, browser-based regression automation suites and tests, scale and distribute scripts across many environments, then you want to use Selenium WebDriver, a collection of language specific bindings to drive a browser - the way it is meant to be driven. If you want to create quick bug reproduction scripts, create scripts to aid in automation-aided exploratory testing, then you want to use Selenium IDE; a Chrome and Firefox add-on that will do simple record-and-playback of interactions with the browser. If you want to scale by distributing and running tests on several machines and manage multiple environments from a central point.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • Very simple experiment test results that usually delivered within 48hours - with a precise breakdown to replicate any issues found.
  • Love the ease of use of the platform and how easy it is to launch tests. It's quick, effective, and keeps our launches smooth. The user interface is super easy to understand, and they are constantly rolling out updates and improvements to their platform to make things even better.
  • They were so easy to work with, really liked having a project manager to help with managing testing. They were very flexible and open to our needs/feedback, even hosted a training session with testers to ensure they understood the nature of our business.
  • - Easy setup in testing sessions - Very responsive testing managers - Reliable execution of all required test cases

Cons

  • Raising experiments not as simple as previously Found it to be a little confusing.
  • There's not much I've experienced so far that I don't like.
  • I think most companies that rely on freelancers have some issues with consistency/quality –having a project manager from GAT helped with this a lot but there were still a few instances were bugs were raised with different levels of quality feedback.
  • - Long test execution time - Sometimes incoherent results, issues that have been marked as "intentional" get flagged again

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • Simple record and playback user interface A java native program and also support languages like python, perl, php, etc

Cons

  • The only limitation with this is that It is only available as an add-on with Chrome and Firefox.
