About

Filect is an AI file search and organization app for Windows and Mac that helps users find and organize files with natural language. Instead of guessing filenames, digging through folders, or manually cleaning messy drives, users can describe what they are looking for in plain English, and Filect returns matching files based on meaning, content, and context. It reads the content of local files on a hard drive, including PDFs, Word documents, spreadsheets, code files, and images with text, then creates a semantic index so files can be found regardless of their filename or folder location. Filect is built for local file chaos: thousands of downloads, documents, scans, invoices, project files, and PDFs that are already sitting on a computer but are hard to locate later. It can automatically categorize files by content topic, apply AI-generated tags, and organize existing folders into cleaner structures without forcing users to save files into a new system.

About

QuickMove is a rules based file mover that learns where to move your files to based on an initial decision from you. It will also offer a list of favourite target folders for those files that don’t fall into any strict category. How? Just right-click on a file and select QuickMove. If QuickMove has no matching rule from past actions then it will open the Rule Wizard and assist you with the creation of a rule before moving the file. The next time you select this type of file for a “quick move”, it will apply the rule without prompt. Always cutting and pasting the same types of Files to the same Folders? Always navigating deep Folder structures to archive the same types of Files? Wish that you could just “right-click” on a File and see it automatically moved based on Rules learnt? Wish you could just be prompted for a list of your favourite target Folders? QuickMove has the Solution!
