Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros It allows you to maintain communications on a global scale, which is essential today, in addition to the fact that, due to being one of the best known, it is quite difficult not to find your contacts. A few of my friends are there but hopefully they will continue leaving. It has a user-friendly interface. - First, the Facebook has a very simple and user-friendly interface. - It suggests people, groups and community according to your interests. - It is available on almost every platform. - Facebook lets you connect with anyone and make them friend. - You can make private or public groups for people with the same interests. - It also offers a marketplace, where you can buy or sell any used or new items. Cons They are not usually quite clear about how they manage privacy, although there are multiple functions which allow you to have a certain control of your privacy, even today there are certain unknowns based on how they manage your privacy. Too many to name. The ethos is that of left wing radicals. However, Facebook does not respect your privacy. It sells your data and spies on you. The worst part is that Facebook censors users with different ideology from its owners. For example, I was blocked from posting on FB 5 times for 30 days last year only and each time for 100% truthful content under false pretext of misinformation. I have PhD. and do research for life - there was no misinformation on my part, just plain fascism on part of Facebook. - In the smartphone version, they really push the messenger app to use with Facebook. - It takes user data unnecessarily that sometimes feels like a threat to privacy.	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros There is really no easier platform to publish written material and quality images than Minds.com . Creating blogs is as easy as creating a post, replies are easy and it's a great way to get feedback. Minds is a free speech platform. You can earn crypto and boost your content. Great for content creators. The interface is pretty easy to use and after several years the rewards became somehow valuable - Minds is probably one of the very first social media platforms focusing on crypto which took a while to really implement. I tried Minds several years ago. It had a lot of potential. I only came back to Minds recently after having a very bad experience on Hive. Minds is a pretty good place to share your memes. Alternative to Facebook as looked similar and could go there whenever was on a ban. Would be on there now if I hadn't been deleted. Cons It needs work on allowing multiple images in a thread and inserting videos. I'm not a user of its online community / chat features I use it to read and post to which I do often. Not sure that there is a whole that I don't like. If there is problems, they seem to work on them pretty quickly. Pretty hard to create relations and I am still not sure how to engage best within the groups there. It took a bit long until the tokens got value, at least it became after years an Ethereum token. Not that easy to cash out though. Minds seems to be taken over by Conspiracy theories and Right Wing Politics. There doesn’t seem to be a way to earn a good amount of crypto. If you are just a normal person Minds seems to be saturated with Pro Trumpers. No help from any admins whatsoever despite replying to every email accusing me of spamming.
