Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros It allows you to maintain communications on a global scale, which is essential today, in addition to the fact that, due to being one of the best known, it is quite difficult not to find your contacts. A few of my friends are there but hopefully they will continue leaving. It has a user-friendly interface. - First, the Facebook has a very simple and user-friendly interface. - It suggests people, groups and community according to your interests. - It is available on almost every platform. - Facebook lets you connect with anyone and make them friend. - You can make private or public groups for people with the same interests. - It also offers a marketplace, where you can buy or sell any used or new items. Cons They are not usually quite clear about how they manage privacy, although there are multiple functions which allow you to have a certain control of your privacy, even today there are certain unknowns based on how they manage your privacy. Too many to name. The ethos is that of left wing radicals. However, Facebook does not respect your privacy. It sells your data and spies on you. The worst part is that Facebook censors users with different ideology from its owners. For example, I was blocked from posting on FB 5 times for 30 days last year only and each time for 100% truthful content under false pretext of misinformation. I have PhD. and do research for life - there was no misinformation on my part, just plain fascism on part of Facebook. - In the smartphone version, they really push the messenger app to use with Facebook. - It takes user data unnecessarily that sometimes feels like a threat to privacy.	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros A new platform without some of the philosophical drawbacks of more popular site. A lot of ways to connect to groups It's a good site when it works properly but that's the problem. The site has become very difficult to impossible to use. At first it was great - I could talk to people and comment without having to join their page or group. we could banter without snowflakes getting offended. We could block people and use it pretty much just like facebook. then you changed the format and everything that was good about it disappeared. I was a daily user until you changed it up. that it went to weekly, now I barely even go. I don't know of any since I can't get to create an account on the platform, because of the hassle with login. Sadly. No free speech restrictions, no ads, open forums, talking with people daily. Ultimately it proved to be a failed social media site because of the new format. Cons Clunky app that crashed or stalled often Inability to download pictures and videos Web page interface is confusing, unintuitive and overwhelming They began charging to see videos, even ones that you uploaded yourself unless you paid for premium account. UI was basic. Looked like an old school website compressed into an app It is very difficult to get any support on MeWe and usually impossible to get any support. I don't like how I cant talk to anyone unless I join their stupid page or group. I don't like how there is no one to talk to there anymore. or how there are no groups of interest. its just boring and so generic and it was so much better before. Their login system doesn't work at all. It simply sucks to be honest. I tried last month to create an account, where I actually succeeded creating an account, but everytime I wanted to login, I had to go to my email account to get a verification mail, which was a hassle, so I deleted it. I couldn't even used an ordinary password. Today I tried six times in total just an hour ago - and I couldn't even create an account. I can't recommend this media at all. Solely because of the login hassle. Sadly, because I want to leave Facebook.. I guess MeWe don't want users. For four years this was a good place to be online. When MeWe decided to stop the successful open format for something called Social Web I read about it and knew it would be just like Facebook, Instagram and every other controlled social media website and I deleted my account rather than switch over. So you lost a customer who had been on MeWe for four years.
