Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros It allows you to maintain communications on a global scale, which is essential today, in addition to the fact that, due to being one of the best known, it is quite difficult not to find your contacts. A few of my friends are there but hopefully they will continue leaving. It has a user-friendly interface. - First, the Facebook has a very simple and user-friendly interface. - It suggests people, groups and community according to your interests. - It is available on almost every platform. - Facebook lets you connect with anyone and make them friend. - You can make private or public groups for people with the same interests. - It also offers a marketplace, where you can buy or sell any used or new items. Cons They are not usually quite clear about how they manage privacy, although there are multiple functions which allow you to have a certain control of your privacy, even today there are certain unknowns based on how they manage your privacy. Too many to name. The ethos is that of left wing radicals. However, Facebook does not respect your privacy. It sells your data and spies on you. The worst part is that Facebook censors users with different ideology from its owners. For example, I was blocked from posting on FB 5 times for 30 days last year only and each time for 100% truthful content under false pretext of misinformation. I have PhD. and do research for life - there was no misinformation on my part, just plain fascism on part of Facebook. - In the smartphone version, they really push the messenger app to use with Facebook. - It takes user data unnecessarily that sometimes feels like a threat to privacy.	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Nothing. They talk a free speech practice, but in fact it's highly censored for "acceptable" political content. Easy to use, no censorship, parallel economy with great small businesses, GabTV is great. Not beholden to big tech in any way. I'm a conservative and respect Christians. However, I am not a Christian and I clearly wasn't welcome on this site. Friendly community that favors small businesses. You can speak openly about your faith should you choose to. They listen to users feedback and are always looking to improve the platform. No company controlled moderation, leaves it in the hands of users who manage its groups. Support free speech and back it up by allowing all forms of discussion. Friendly to family and American values unlike FB, Google, et al. Cons Claims to be "free speech" site, but if you post political views that aren't consistent with theirs, your account will disabled as "spam" or it will be hidden so that only you can see your posts. Not really any cons to speak of. It has a great user base already but I hope it continues to grow. I can't believe that Gab is good for Christianity. Gab makes Christians look hateful, angry, and dangerous. I know many Christians and they are positive, moral people. It'd be extremely valuable for them to hire a dedicated IT team that focuses exclusively on user issues. Presently the community supports new user questions, but getting quick answers on technical issues isn't always possible. Needs a bit more maturity as a product.
