About
EpiSensor Edge is an industrial IoT platform for on-site monitoring, data collection, visualization, automation, and device management. It runs locally on an EpiSensor Gateway or Ubuntu server, allowing sites to continue recording data and executing automation even without an internet connection. Edge brings wired and wireless devices into one interface with dashboards, historical data, alerts, calculated sensors, automation rules, and building and asset views. It supports protocols including Zigbee, Modbus, BACnet, MQTT, and other industrial interfaces, and provides APIs and Node-RED-based integration tools for connecting field equipment with energy, enterprise, and cloud platforms. Edge is used for energy monitoring, demand response, industrial IoT, building monitoring, and connected energy systems.
