About
Elementary is a data observability and reliability platform for analytics and data engineering teams. It monitors data pipelines and warehouse assets, detects freshness, volume, schema and quality anomalies, and brings dbt and custom test results into a shared view. Teams can investigate incidents, trace impact through column-level lineage, review data health and performance, and manage asset descriptions, ownership and governance. Elementary Cloud adds dashboards, alert routing, collaboration, a catalog and AI-assisted workflows. An open-source self-hosted option supports code-first monitoring in the customer's environment. The platform connects warehouse, transformation, BI, orchestration, code and messaging tools. Its MCP server connects AI tools with Elementary data context. It serves data, analytics and platform teams, as well as business users who need to find, validate, monitor and understand data.

About
Great Expectations is a shared, open standard for data quality. It helps data teams eliminate pipeline debt, through data testing, documentation, and profiling. We recommend deploying within a virtual environment. If you’re not familiar with pip, virtual environments, notebooks, or git, you may want to check out the Supporting. There are many amazing companies using great expectations these days. Check out some of our case studies with companies that we've worked closely with to understand how they are using great expectations in their data stack. Great expectations cloud is a fully managed SaaS offering. We're taking on new private alpha members for great expectations cloud, a fully managed SaaS offering. Alpha members get first access to new features and input to the roadmap.
