About

EA LAB (also known as MT5 Robot Lab) develops configurable Expert Advisors (EAs) for MetaTrader 5. Its robot library covers multiple rule-based trading approaches, with product pages describing strategy logic, entry and exit rules, filters, risk controls, configuration inputs, installation, licensing and product-specific limitations. Users can install an EA in MT5, adjust its settings, run historical tests in the MT5 Strategy Tester and review example reports before evaluating a configuration on demo. EA LAB also provides educational material about trading strategies, backtesting, optimization and risk. Features, release readiness, documentation and pricing differ by robot. EA LAB provides software and educational information; it does not manage trading accounts or promise returns. Trading involves risk, including loss of capital, and historical results do not guarantee future performance.

About

The Trade With Pat (TWP) Robot is an easy-to-use automated trading system that helps you trade in the forex and crypto markets. Built using more than 17 years of trading experience, it runs on the MetaTrader platform and handles everything for you — from analyzing the market to placing and managing trades. Once you connect it to your trading account, the robot looks for the best opportunities, opens and closes trades, and manages profits and risk automatically. It’s simple to set up and great for beginners, usually taking just 15 minutes to get started. The TWP Robot can trade multiple currency pairs and uses smart, tested strategies to aim for steady account growth. You can choose different “set files” depending on your trading style and goals. There’s only a one-time payment — no monthly fees — and you get lifetime access. After purchase, you’ll receive step-by-step video tutorials, setup guides, and access to the Trade With Pat community on Discord for support.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • Trade With Pat Robot uses an open-range breakout strategy, which gives traders a defined approach to identifying potential entries. I like the idea of evaluating a system with identifiable trading rules because it makes backtesting and performance analysis more practical. The automated execution can also reduce the need to monitor charts constantly.
  • The robot itself is actually fine, it does what it says. It works with low and high risk depending on the settings. Took me months to figure out how this robot works
  • I've tried signal services where the difficult part was still executing the trade correctly. By the time I received the alert, price had moved, and then I was deciding whether to enter or wait. With Trade With Pat, the EA can actually execute the strategy according to its programmed rules. That removes a lot of the hesitation between seeing a setup and actually taking it.
  • My biggest issue with forex trading was never finding setups. It was what I did after finding them. I would move an entry, hesitate on a breakout or close a trade because I was nervous about giving back profit. The Trade With Pat Robot helped because the strategy is rule-based and the EA handles the execution instead of leaving me to make the decision in the moment. I particularly like that it doesn't seem interested in taking every little move in the market.
  • Every version of the Trade with Pat EA includes the same core trading strategy and lifetime software updates. Higher packages mainly increase licensing flexibility and additional features, allowing traders to choose according to their own trading needs rather than feeling forced into expensive upgrades.

Cons

  • The main concern with any breakout strategy is how it performs in choppy markets. False breakouts can trigger losing trades, especially when price reverses shortly after crossing a key level. The strategy still needs to prove that it can handle different market conditions without excessive drawdown
  • Very bad support. You get a discord group where you find all the explanation in detail. If you still have questions you can text the support which most of the time won't answer. You will find many sections to discuss about the market, results and general stuff. If you post negative results, your message will be deleted by Pat or his moderators immediately and if you say something that they slightly disagree that you're not happy with the results, you will be muted in less than one minute for spreading "bad energy". So if you need to text someone about the robot, figure it out by yourself. Most of the time when they answer how to fix the results of the bot you will get a "you just need to manage risk properly". Well, no way Sherlock, but tell me the settings i need to adjust.
  • Automation also means accepting the robot's rules. If the market doesn't fit the strategy, the EA isn't going to magically adapt like a discretionary trader might.
  • There are definitely trades I would have taken manually that the robot simply ignores. If you enjoy discretionary trading, that can take some getting used to.
  • Traders who only need one live account may not benefit from the larger packages. Comparing every feature across the available tiers takes a little research before making a final decision.
