About

DevArmor is an application security platform built for modern engineering and security teams. Instead of scanning for vulnerabilities only after code is written, DevArmor works earlier in the process — automating threat modeling and embedding secure-by-design practices directly into how teams build software. This helps organizations identify architectural and design-level risks early, where they're cheapest and easiest to fix. DevArmor is designed to fit the way engineers already work, so security becomes part of the development lifecycle rather than a bottleneck at the end. It gives security teams visibility into design risk across their applications while empowering developers to make secure decisions without needing to be security experts. With growing coverage for modern stacks — including AI-powered components — DevArmor supports AppSec, DevSecOps, and shift-left initiatives across the software development lifecycle.

About

Xygeni All-In-One AppSec Platform protects software from code to cloud with a unified solution built for Application Security Posture Management (ASPM). It gives CISOs, CIOs, and DevSecOps teams full visibility and control across the software supply chain, without slowing delivery. Xygeni secures every SDLC stage, code, dependencies, secrets, builds, IaC, containers, and CI/CD systems, detecting vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and malware in real time. Powered by advanced AI, Xygeni prioritizes exploitable risks, cuts 90% of alert noise, and drives automated remediation through AI SAST, Auto-Fix, and Xygeni Bot. Developers scan and fix issues directly in their IDE, keeping code secure from the start. Early Malware Warning blocks zero-day supply-chain threats at publication, while smart dependency analysis prevents breaking updates. Seamless integration with GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps ensures a frictionless experience.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • DevArmor made threat modeling something our engineers actually do instead of avoid. Instead of a one-off exercise before a big release, it runs continuously as our architecture changes, so we catch design flaws while they're still cheap to fix. Setup was quicker than expected, and the fact that developers don't need to be security experts to use it has been huge for adoption on our team. The AI/agentic coverage was a deciding factor for us, it flagged trust-boundary and data-flow risks in our LLM features that our existing scanners completely missed.

Cons

  • There's a learning curve in the first couple of weeks as you tune it to your stack and get the team into the habit. We have a list of integrations that we would love to see in the product.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • Secret leaks were causing frequent disruptions in our deployment cycles. The adoption of Xygeni not only upgraded the security of our secrets but also enhanced our developer productivity. By reducing false positives, developers can focus on innovation rather than remediation. Xygeni’s git hook integration is a game-changer for our DevOps team, catching issues we didn’t even know existed and saving us countless hours.

Cons

  • Like any new tool, this one requires some learning time to get accustomed to its operation and features. In addition to the extensive documentation and support resources, the provision of explanatory videos would be highly beneficial in facilitating user understanding and adoption.
