Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • -To start, Declarative Webhooks has an intuitive user experience. While it helps to have some experience with API's and data structure, users are able to easily create and maintain inbound and outbound integrations. -When building in Declarative Webhooks, it is easy to debug and test your solutions using the call log and "Test" feature. -Declarative Webhooks also has out-of-box features that allow you to use it from other places in Salesforce, like Flows. -Straightforward and scalable pricing.
  • I'm a Salesforce admin and used Declarative Webhooks when I'm making a request to an API when using Agentforce to connect to an external system. I really liked the latest version where with generative ai I can create JSON payloads easily instead of trying to find it from documentation.

Cons

  • Can't think of any. I've always found it does what I need it to do!
  • Needs more guides and learning materials, genai features don't work for complex payloads and situations.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • I'm on the ops and marketing side, not engineering, so I needed something I could actually understand. Stacksync (stacksync.com) syncs our CRM data into Supabase without me having to write code or bother our dev team. The setup was straightforward and the data just stays current. What really sold me was the support. I reached out on chat expecting a bot and got a real person in under 30-60 seconds. Their team covers multiple time zones so someone is always around. Every question I've asked has been answered by a human who actually understood the context

Cons

  • Took me a little time to understand how to add my database and my crm, but support helped me through it quickly
