Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • Strong endpoint control features Reliable day-to-day functionality Good reporting and monitoring capabilities
  • How it makes it easy to track user web browsing activity is the best aspect ever. It allows us to permanently monitor our workstations and detect visits to inappropriate sites.
  • I like that it is able to effectively block non-work-related sites. It is easy to update and import settings from one user to another. It has a number of filtering features to protect your online activities. I strongly advice you to use BrowseControl.
  • Controls all USB devices to ensure they does not end up accessing corporate crucial data. I like the notifications it sends to email in real time to warn about any violation of security policies.

Cons

  • Lack of transparency around renewal and cancellation terms Rigid licensing model with strict cutoff requirements Fragility when moving or reconfiguring the system Migration and database challenges
  • I don't feel there is any missing capability on this platform.
  • The exceptional performance of BrowseControl leaves me with absolutely nothing to complain.
  • The setup process can be a bit complicated, so it's important to read the instructions carefully.

Cons

  • Forcepoint offers broad integration capabilities, incorporating it seamlessly with a diverse range of third-party tools or legacy systems can be challenging and time-consuming. Forcepoint DLP is feature-rich, but this comes at a higher price point compared to some competitors.
  • Regular updates and fine-tuning are essential to maintain the effectiveness of Forcepoint DLP. This ongoing effort requires dedicated resources, which might be a challenge for smaller teams.
