Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • Coreflux makes it really easy to connect different devices and keep everything running smoothly. I really like the way it handles automation with LOT—it saves a lot of time and effort. The support team has also been very helpful whenever I had questions.
  • A rather robust ecosystem for building a data pipeline with mqtt. Goes from OT to message queue and onward to IT layers. Offers frontend and CLI options for deployment scalability.

Cons

  • Some parts take a little time to learn, especially LOT . they really require a new interface that could be a bit simpler for new users.
  • Short cloud broker trial, still on process of putting OT assets on cloud.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • It is highly scalable and handles large volumes of messages efficiently. Its support for multiple protocols like MQTT, CoAP, and HTTP makes integration easier. The intuitive dashboard helps monitor connections and message throughput effectively. I also liked its strong security features, including TLS/SSL encryption and fine-grained access control, which ensured safe data transmission.
  • For me, personally, there are various factors that I liked about EMQX; one of them being that it is an accessible broker that is able to process millions of messages in literal seconds, it is very fast like no other service and it is able to connect to multiple devices in one single cluster, EMQX is a software that, while using it, it feels really comfortable and it does not come with any remarkable complications, it is a nicely created software that is easy to deploy on the preferred cloud service for better security.
  • EMQX is the best tool that it is available out there. First of all, I like that this is the most cost-effective tool that exists out there when it comes to giving the Broker MQTT full experience, as it is a fully open-source software that is constantly improving while still providing a great and professional level platform to carry out different projects. It is the most stable service to set up the devices at different scales and provide the users reliability and high security.
  • Being able to have an open source protocol that guarantees community with different devices that allow better data processing and centralize all the information has given us the advantage of being able to achieve a better strategy with respect to the data we have, working with this fluidly and in real time. In addition to the fact that we laugh at each step, the security of all our information, and the flexibility we have to manage this within the enormous acid cloud.
  • EMQX has everything we need in a platform for managing information and data, its messaging system is perfect remotely, it creates a complete data processing network with the management of a completely efficient protocol that helps us send and efficient collection of information, this without letting anything escape and allowing us to have a continuous work flow. It is perfectly integrated into the cloud, which provides us with job security, and not only with this, it has integrations that complement its functionality on a large scale. It handles various data inputs simultaneously without lowering the quality in the process.

Cons

  • The initial setup can feel a bit overwhelming for beginners, especially when configuring advanced clustering options. Better documentation or guided tutorials could simplify this process.
  • The support team is not very responsive, I have reached out to them only a couple of times but they have not been very responsive as other customer services, it is an aspect that needs to be improved because this is a software that is working with something very sensitive like data is.
  • We had to follow a few steps in order to be able to set everything up, it was a bit complicated at first but we got the hang of it eventually, I would say it felt a bit discouraging because we were very confused but then it was fine. EMQX is a software that can provide high scalability if needed.
  • I don't have much time but I'm using the platform, however we have discovered that each tool is essential for the work we do, that is, it doesn't saturate us with so many configurations, it has made the experience much more enjoyable, being just what we are looking for for processing data and a real-time messaging system.
  • For now I have to highlight many positive points and really few negatives, since without a doubt the platform was perfectly adapted to my business system, and its use and implementation in the cloud has given us the advantage over any other aspect.
