About

Securely store, manage and exchange Bitcoin, Ethereum, and more than 1,770 other blockchain assets. Coinomi is a security-first, multi-chain wallet for both mobile & desktop that provides native support and true ownership for more than 125 blockchains (the biggest number in the industry for non-custodial wallets) and thousands of tokens. Coinomi is Seg-Wit enabled and offers 168 fiat currency representations, readable in 25 languages. All supported assets can be exchanged instantly from within the app via built-in exchanges. Your private keys never leave your device. Strong wallet encryption and cryptography guarantee that your funds will remain safe under your ultimate control. No KYC bureaucracy to access your funds, no IP association, no identity linking, no transactions tracking. Our servers anonymize your requests by hiding your IP address from prying eyes. Constant operation since 2014, never hacked, no user has ever lost funds due to Coinomi.

About

Buy, sell, exchange and manage your crypto in one single app. Securely. 27 coins and more than 1500 tokens supported. A hardware wallet is a cryptocurrency wallet which stores the user's private keys (critical piece of information used to authorise outgoing transactions on the blockchain network) in a secure hardware device. The main principle behind hardware wallets is to provide full isolation between the private keys and your easy-to-hack computer or smartphone. At Ledger we are developing hardware wallet technology that provides the highest level of security for crypto assets. Our products combine a Secure Element and a proprietary OS designed specifically to protect your assets. Ledger hardware wallets empower you with the ownership and control of your private keys.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • Feels very secured with all the encryption process, the interface is beginners friendly with no confusing content.

Cons

  • I'm confused about how to sign into a new device unlike Coinbase.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • >Great user interface (UI). >Great amount of coins supported. >Good look and feel. >Decent customer/tech support.

Cons

  • >Ledger just committed suicide by allowing backdoors into their software in partnering with a 3rd-party company to "store" your private keys. I can no longer take this company seriously. >Not open-source, so not as trust-worthy as all other open-source options. >They don't have great customer/tech support (in the rare instance that you would need it) in comparison to say Keystone wallet, but it's decent.
