Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros I especially like the robust features of ClubExpress, the security and privacy features of the membership system, the ease of creating web pages, and the reasonable cost of ClubExpress. The Help Desk availability is excellent. I truly feel like ClubExpress is our organization’s collaborator and partner. Love the ability for club members to pay dues online, sign up for events online, and place their own classifieds. I like that all aspects of our membership experience can be handled through ClubExpress. ClubExpress has many features a club needs for a website/app. It's more than a generic web host. The integrated membership registrations are great. Lots of information (club info, photos, videos, and sales) can be captured all in one application. The website and member database is pretty straight forward to use from the point of view of an admin. Also, I like how the development team continues to provide software updates. This is a well serviced platform. With this amazing tool we can create creative websites for our organization's needs. Integrations present with the platforms help to make more secure transactions, create reports and generate due reports. With surveys, we can know the opinion of users and grow ourselves. Cons Though we very much appreciate being assigned an engineer to help us with the website redesign, the way that collaboration was supposed to work was not made crystal clear to us at the outset. We hit a bump or two along the way. We were, however, able to work things out by talking to the sales team member who helped set reasonable expectations, and by talking directly to the engineer. No automated waitlist for events. This is my biggest gripe. We should be able to have a waitlist for events and have those on the waitlist (in order) be placed automatically into the attending section as members delete their registrations. It should then email the new attending member. Classifieds module end user UI needs to be improved. Changing and maintaining the website is not easy. Setting up the app didn't go well either. I still can't figure it out. Many of the page setup screens are very old school and not intuitive. In account profiles, one dialogue box displays different information compared to what is shown in the member's profile. This sometimes creates a confused member. Initially, some minor negatives are there with the tool. But their team removed all the bugs and now it works perfectly fine.		Pros from Real Users Pros Customer Service is extremely helpful ALL the time for me. Larry is also top notch at answering after hours and adapting to all of my request. If their system doesn't have something you need, their team will certainly try to build it on the backend or help you adjust to make it work. I have worked with several gym software providers and have not found anyone as good. Their... Texting / auto bill / 24hr door operation / price / etc. . . . Simply can not be beat. ShapeNet is a highly customizable software than can manage just about every component of your gym. You can integrate it with a variety of other systems such as a POS, door systems, etc. It's your one stop shop for running a gym. There was a steep learning curve, but that is to be expected as there are many specific fields and nuances that must be touched on when running a business. However, after just a couple months I more or less became a master! Additionally, some of the best customer service I have ever received. If I have an issue, they fix it. Shout out to Cathy and Veronica! We've been using ShapeNet software for our fitness business operations for the past seventeen years. Since we started, it's been the cornerstone of our operations and has significantly improved our efficiency and overall client management. We use ShapeNet to manage client interactions (SMS, email, etc), scheduling, and billing processes. It allows us to schedule appointments, track trainer productivity and run robust reports. This in turn has helped us improve our personal training staff's productivity and customer retention rates. The customer support team at ShapeNet is outstanding. They are responsive, knowledgeable, and always ready to assist with any queries or technical issues we encounter. We would highly recommend ShapeNet to any fitness club looking to streamline their operations. Easy to implement and efficient. With our business growing over the past 9 years we needed to find a software that allowed us to cater to all our business needs. We don't use Shapenet for any billing so they worked with us by customizing the system to work in a way we need it to. Easy to learn. Staff is super responsive. Improvements made every year. Reporting is excellent. Automatic functions have saved me time.
