About

Chromium is an open-source browser project that aims to build a safer, faster, and more stable way for all Internet users to experience the web.

About

CloakBrowser is a stealth Chromium browser for developers and automation teams using Playwright, Puppeteer, Selenium, or CDP. It is built for public web data, QA, monitoring, scraping, and AI-agent workflows where standard Chromium setups become fragile. CloakBrowser keeps the familiar automation experience. Teams can migrate existing Playwright or Puppeteer workflows with minimal code changes, while .NET and Selenium/CDP are also supported. Run it locally or self-hosted on Windows, macOS, Linux, Docker, and VPS infrastructure. The custom Chromium build handles browser behavior at the source level. CloakBrowser supports persistent profiles, reproducible browser identities, proxy-aware configuration, human-like interaction timing, Docker deployment, and CDP server mode. The wrapper is MIT-licensed; the custom Chromium build is distributed separately under a proprietary license. Proxies and CAPTCHA solving are not included.
