Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • Much better latency than the incumbents. Better pricing (I save up to 10x from others). Debug and Trace APIs enabled on all plans, no surcharge. Archival requests count towards your normal requests per month.
  • The CEO of Chainnodes was able to assist us personally with one of the questions. It's great, that the Chainnodes team knows the product in and out, so they are always ready to help within seconds.

Cons

  • Less known than the big ones. Does not support all chains yet, though more is coming as far as I was told by support.
  • Not so many chains are supported. Chainnodes is a new company, so It might lose its amazing features in the future.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • OnFinality offers a straightforward way to connect applications to blockchain networks without managing nodes in-house. The support for HTTP and WebSocket connections is useful for dApps, wallets, and backend services. For teams that need more than basic RPC access, features such as archive data, transaction tracing on supported networks, usage visibility, and dedicated-node options provide a clear path to scale.

Cons

  • The available capabilities can differ by network and plan, so developers should confirm support for specific methods, archive access, trace APIs, and rate limits before committing to production. As with any RPC provider, critical applications should also implement retries, monitoring, and fallback endpoints.
