About

Includes multiple languages and accents, if on Chrome, you will get access to Google's voices as well. Super easy to use, no download, no login required. Drag, drop & play (or directly copy text & play). Simply fun to use and listen to great content. Great for listening in the background. Great for proof-reading, great for kids and more. We facilitate high-quality natural-sounding voices from different sources. There are male & female voices, in different accents and different languages. Choose the voice you like, insert text, click play to generate the synthesized speech and enjoy listening. TTSReader remembers the article and last position when paused, even if you close the browser. This way, you can come back to listening right where you previously left. Works on Chrome & Safari and on mobile too. Ideal for listening to articles. TTSReader enables exporting the synthesized speech with a single click.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • I like the sounds of the voices, I wanted to change my phone's voice to something a little more unique and I like all the options CereProc has.

Cons

  • I paid for and downloaded the voice for my phone, got a small little app with three buttons. One button is an I for instructions I take it, which tells me to choose the voice I downloaded. I did that. It will read the example in the app. And that's it. No more help. What am I supposed to do? I have no clue how to use this thing. There's no instructions on their web page, I've searched the internet and all I find are advertisements. There are virtually no YouTube videos to learn from. I mean come on. Maybe I'm an idiot, but I can follow instructions if you just give them to me.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • 1) Seamless, user-friendly, and completely free of disruptive ads—even for free users. 2) How their support team responded quickly and genuinely, without trying to upsell or push me into buying their services. 3) They have a sincere hunger to improve and grow. 4) Open for feedback, and they not only hear it but also act on it.
  • Extremely easy to use and straightforward even for non tech guys as myself. Great voices. Completely free voices available, and great AI voices for a small fee. I use it every day to listen to online fiction novels.
  • Initial price and service are attractive, later much more problems arise. Advertised on what it can do.

Cons

  • It's been less than 6 months, and as of now, I have not been able to find any issue. Whatever issue I found a few months back has been catered and my feedback too has been incorporated. The detail of the issue is mentioned in the overall comments.
  • Sometimes has some rough edges design-wise, although I love it that the website player is on the whole screen.
  • lack of customer service. False advertisement. No email is returned. Service is not as described.
