Byobu now includes an enhanced profile, convenient keybindings, configuration utilities, and toggle-able system status notifications for both the GNU Screen window manager and the more modern Tmux terminal multiplexer, and works on most Linux, BSD, and Mac distributions. TTerm for Linux is a native Linux terminal emulator designed for Linux desktop systems and devices. It delivers a high degree of configurability, session control, screen-enhancing capabilities, productivity tools, and one of the widest ranges of terminal coverage available in a single package. Built for Linux and explicitly supported for Ubuntu, SUSE, OpenSUSE, Red Hat, and CentOS distributions, TTerm for Linux helps users connect to a broad range of host systems without needing to switch products for different emulations. It includes more than 80 terminal emulations and supports terminals and host manufacturers such as ANSI, Fujitsu, HP, IBM, Unix, Siemens, Stratus, Televideo, Unisys, Wyse, DEC, Tandem / HP NonStop, and more. TTerm for Linux ships with industry-standard encryption and supports SSH, Telnet, Telnet via SSL2 / SSL3 / TLS tunnel, Telnet via SSH tunnel, serial connections, HP Network Services Virtual Terminal, and IPv6.
