About

Run the open-source buildkite-agent on your own infrastructure for maximum speed, control, and security. The agent checks out your source code, executes custom hooks and overrides, and then runs your build jobs. Your source code never leaves your infrastructure. You can install the agent using one of our packages and binaries for almost every platform and architecture, including Ubuntu, Debian, Mac, Windows, Docker, and more. The agent’s artifact and meta-data storage allows for share-nothing, state-free build jobs that can be easily distributed and scaled across any number of agents. Run as many build agents as you need (up to 10,000 connected per account), without breaking a sweat. The open-source Elastic CI Stack for AWS gives you an easy-to-maintain, elastically scaling CI stack in your own AWS account. Or if you prefer to roll your own, you can use the tools you’re already familiar with in your production environments (such as Packer and Terraform).

About

BunsenLabs Linux Lithium is a distribution offering a light-weight and easily customizable Openbox desktop. The project is a community continuation of CrunchBang Linux. The current release is derived from Debian 10. The distribution consists of configuration and resource packages installed on top of Debian. There are no changes to the way the Debian base system is administrated. Pre-configured Openbox window manager with tint2 panel, conky system monitor and jgmenu, a feature-rich desktop menu. Assortment of harmonising GTK2/3 themes, wallpapers and conky configurations. Various configuration and application utilities to maintain this system. Additional desktop-, multimedia- and hardware-related packages come pre-installed to offer a better “out-of-the-box” experience. There is no limit to customization. We offer combined live-CD and installation media for the Debian amd64 (x86-64) architectures and i386 (i686) architectures.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • BunsenLabs make OpenBox very easy to use in a day routine on computer. The base of this operating system is Debian and we can get software from Debian repositories. After install we are presented to a script that helps us to install LibreOffice, OpenJdk and Printer support. Nice job and excellent design. I like the Dragon theme.
  • Openbox window manager. Compact. Runs well on older hardware. Easy to install. Good support (forum). User friendly. Low memory usage. Fast.

Cons

  • 1. The installation is from Debian installer so, we have to read carefully each step on installation, but it just requires more attention, not a handicap; 2. We have to study OpenBox. Not a handicap, but an invite to learn.
  • Sometimes upgrades from Debian versions take a bit longer.
