About

Testim is the fastest path to resilient end-to-end tests—codeless, coded or both. Testim lets you create amazingly stable codeless tests that leverage our AI, but also the flexibility to export tests as code. You can leverage Testim’s modern JavaScript API and your IDE to debug, customize or refactor tests. Store them in your version control system to keep them in sync with branches and run tests on every commit. Run parallel, cross-browser tests on our test cloud or Selenium-compatible grids while integrating with your CI and dev tools to run smoke tests on pull requests, end-to-end tests on release candidates, or full regression suites on a schedule. Customers like Microsoft, Salesforce, NetApp, Wix, and JFrog run millions of tests on Testim each month. Learn more on our website and sign up for your free account!

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • My favorite things about BrowserStack are, primarily, the way it works, it doesn't require for a long learning curve in order to be able to use it and to implement all the amazing tools that it has, it is very easy to use and to maintain in order to keep using, it is the most user-friendly solution that adjusts to the users and I like it. Another thing that I really like about Browserstack is the way that it allows us to run multiple tests without limitations and it is able to run tests on older versions of browsers, it has an incredible archive of these versions and we are able to provide a nice experience for all users no matter the device they are visiting the page in, if old or new. It is able to provide different kinds of testing to ensure that the code is working properly, and it has so many tools that adjust the code to different environments, I like how it is possible to test on real actual browsers to get the full experience and to know if it actually works or not. With Browserstack, we are not only able to run all these tests on actual running browsers with all the settings, but we are also able to detect errors on the bug and proceed to do the debugging inside the software, with all the helpful tools that it has to complete this step, we are able to do the debugging for both mobile and desktop devices which is something that I really appreciate as we are able to do this in only one platform and don't require to switch softwares.
  • BrowserStack is one of my favorite product that provide to test the software of multiple devices and browsers. It is being use for software development and testing purpose. - We can test the product on multiple devices and browsers (Mac, Window, iOS, Android etc..) - Highly reliable cloud infrastructure that effortlessly scales as testing needs grow. - It is very useful for developer and tester. - Easy to use and user-friendly! - It help to improve the product quality. - We can use it for documentation purpose as well. - Cheapest tool according to features.

Cons

  • BrowserStack is a great solution that adds much more ease to the process of testing and debugging, with all the tools that it has it feels very comfortable to work with. However, I would like the prices to be more accessible to the general public, BrowserStack currently offers different pricing options but they are still very high and not affordable at all, especially for small businesses like us that are making a great use of the software and seeing results. A more affordable plan with less tools that are not often used would be a great option to implement this. Other than that, I do not have any dislikes towards this software and I think it works perfectly.
  • Sometimes browser speed create problem for me. Rest of the things looks excellent.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • 1. Automation and AI significantly reduces the time spent on diagnosing failures. 2. Unlike complex tools like Selenium, it is is easy to work with and tests can be conducted much faster. 3. It prevents duplicate steps by automatically flagging redundant steps and giving suggestions.
  • Testim makes it easy to create and maintain automated test cases without spending too much time on coding. The interface is user-friendly, and the AI-powered element identification helps reduce test failures caused by UI changes. It has helped our team speed up regression testing and improve overall test coverage
  • Testim is very much user friendly and efficient automation testing platform, allowing users to switch from manual testing to scalable automated workflows. Major plus is no-code platform for test creation, making it accessible to all QAs and developers and even beginners with limited programming experience. Its capabilities around AI powered smart locators and self starter are robust, making test remains stable even when user interface changes. Its visual editor, record-playback feature and clean interface is helpful. Lastly, its integration with GitLab allows teams to embed automated testing into released workflows.
  • Among the many benefits from using Tricentis Testim, the first is the stability provided by the artificial intelligence—tests do not break as easily as before when there are changes to the user interface, and that greatly improves the amount of maintenance. It is low-code and easy to build and run test scenarios on a larger scale, and it works well with other CI/CD solutions such as Jenkins or GitLab. Additionally, the cloud execution of testing and its capability to do parallel testing add even more speed to the process.
  • It offers real-time insights on logins, product searches which enables my team to test performance and initiate test scripts. It has powerful AI Smart Locaters that analyzes data and quickly prevents test downtimes when UI changes.

Cons

  • 1. Lack of Price transparency. 2. Pricing and features target Enterprise Customers. Thereby making it less practical for small businesses.
  • Some advanced customization options can take time to learn for new users. The pricing may also be a bit high for smaller teams or organizations with limited testing budgets.
  • Testim is perceived as slightly on higher side in terms of pricing. This can discourage individual users, SMEs, or budget-conscious teams. Sometimes, the execution slows down when handling large suites, multi-tests or high complex workflows. More enhanced version of debugging, deeper network level visibility and improved search within test repos can improve overall platform functionalities.
  • However, for Tricentis Testim, a downside may be the restrictive nature of using a low-code strategy when testing applications that require a higher degree of customization. In some advanced test cases, it might be necessary to resort to custom code, which can negate the advantages offered by a low-code strategy. Another drawback of Tricentis Testim is the time required to debug any failures encountered during testing, particularly those related to AI-based locators. Furthermore, the reports generated by CI/CD tools are not very detailed, which forces users to revert to the Testim dashboard for information on the issue at hand.
  • The price is high for my team since the number of daily tests keeps on increasing. I am embraced by the overall performance and powerful mobile app testing capabilities.
