About

Coreware is an all-in-one platform built specifically for FFLs, including gun stores, shooting ranges, and online firearms retailers. Instead of juggling disconnected systems, Coreware brings point-of-sale, inventory, eCommerce, payment processing, and compliance into one connected platform. Designed to eliminate double data entry and streamline audit prep, Coreware centralizes serialized inventory tracking, vendor purchasing, electronic bound books, and digital ATF Form 4473 workflows right at the counter. Live distributor catalog feeds expand your inventory automatically, while built-in payment processing keeps counter and online checkout fast, seamless, and secure. To drive revenue, built-in marketing automation makes it simple to launch email and SMS campaigns that build buyer loyalty. By consolidating these customer engagement tools directly into the retail ecosystem, store owners can drive repeat business and protect their bottom line without relying on third-party apps.

Pros from Real Users

Pros

  • We have been loyal Bravo Customers since 2016. Throughout our almost decade of business with Bravo, our company has seen incredible growth in both sales and our loans. We went from a loan balance of under 200k to 425k. The mobile pawn app had transformed our business. We capture about 65% of our pawn service charges with the mobile pawn app. This frees up our SLAs to focus on writing more loans, and making more sales, rather than taking payments. The E4473 and cloud storage is incredible for compliance and saving real estate in our store. I love being able to send a 4473 almost instantly to the ATF if they request a trace. These innovations have had a huge impact on our business. I look forward to seeing what else Bravo creates for their customers.
  • Robust retail and firearms POS system. Excellent customer service and support. Ease of use and training for staff.
  • The organization it includes is great. Makes me know what tasks are due to keep everything straight.
  • The ease of use and how quickly you can learn to use the product. It does multiple things for my shop, such as sales and tracking gunsmithing work.
  • Excellent system for small business FFLs. Bravos CSRs and Tech support are fast, knowledgeable and reliable. Simple and hassle free interface.
  • Fast and reliable customer service. Tailored system for FFLs. Everything works well and they way it should. System offers excellent solutions for small business.
  • Bravo Store Systems deserves a resounding 5-star rating for its outstanding features: Inventory Management: Bravo's centralized inventory management is a game-changer. Tracking aged inventory and offering bulk discounts by age or category has significantly elevated our inventory turnover rate. Loan & Buy Management: Bravo simplifies the loan and buy processes. Creating and saving transactions and quotes until customers are ready to sell is a breeze. The ability to approve loans remotely via the app adds an extra layer of convenience. Task Manager: The intuitive task board keeps our team on track. Reminders for overdue layaways, loans about to expire, and other outstanding tasks ensure nothing falls through the cracks. AI Predictive Pricing Estimator: Bravo's AI-driven pricing estimator is a standout feature. It assesses and determines the worth of every item based on its current and future condition, providing suggested values tailored to transaction types. Jewelry Estimator & Scrap: The meticulous evaluation of jewelry and scrap items sets Bravo apart. Stones are automatically cataloged, and stone weights are separated from the total weight, preventing any overpayment for metals. Mobile App: Bravo's mobile pawn payment feature allows customers to make remote loan and layaway payments through the app. The addition of free SMS payment reminders has significantly boosted on-time payments. Enterprise Management: Searching and transferring inventory between stores, along with the ability to handle cash transfers and payments at any location, exemplifies Bravo's commitment to seamless enterprise management. Product Catalog: Bravo provides a comprehensive and accurate product catalog, including features, descriptions, photos, specs, prices, availability, colors, customer reviews, and more. Firearms Suite: Bravo ensures ATF compliance with a robust Firearms Suite, streamlining firearm transactions with features like built-in E4473, A&D book, 3310s, firearm transfers, and vendor catalog integrations. Multi-Transaction Processing: Bravo's capability to handle multiple transaction types simultaneously in seconds enhances both employee and customer experience. Customer Management: Seeing all customer information across channels and locations, including contact details, profiles, purchases, and loan history, is made easy with Bravo's customer management. Integrated eCommerce: Bravo simplifies online sales with integrated eCommerce, allowing the listing and selling of inventory on multiple online marketplaces simultaneously and automatically. Free Police Export: Bravo ensures compliance with law enforcement reporting mandates through free, complete, and compliant police exports. Reporting: With 60+ pre-built reports and customizable options, Bravo facilitates easy tracking of KPIs, providing actionable insights into company, store, and employee performance. Accounting: Bravo integrates seamlessly with accounting software, including QuickBooks, Great Plains, and Sage One, ensuring full accountability. Bravo Store Systems offers an all-encompassing solution that not only meets but exceeds expectations in every aspect of inventory and business management. A truly indispensable tool for businesses aiming for efficiency, compliance, and success.
  • The Inventory management including SKUs in Bravo was so helpful compared to my previous software. I was able to manage my pawn transactions and my firearm transactions with ease including all of the compliance that comes along with both of these types of transactions. I really liked the digital E4473 they provide and develop in house, and the automatic 3310's. We utilize their Ecommerce features as well and they have helped us continue to turn our in store inventory on a more regular basis. The reporting also helped me get a really in depth look at my business activities with a lot of detail. My employees were able to get into Bravo and start working really fast it was easy to understand, and when we needed help Bravo actually helped us train new employees!
  • I have used numerous different pawn POS systems over the years: Pawndex, Pawnmaster, Pawnmate, Muns, and Bravo. I can unequivocally say that Bravo is hands-down, far and away, the best. From eBay integration, the Estimator, Customer Loyalty, Business Intelligence, a streamlined e4473 process, a mobile payment app, an easy-to-use Physical Inventory module, and much more, there is no comparison. Other systems may do one or two of those things, but Bravo is the only one that does them all. Moreover, they are still developing great new ideas to further improve their lead as the frontrunner within this space.
  • There is too much to list. Bravo has a smooth, very modern, very sleek interface that is easy to navigate. Some of my personal highlights: Inventory Management Loan Management Layaway Management Custom Ad Hoc Reporting E4473 With Cloud Storage SMS Messages MobilePawn Buya E-Commerce eBay integration Retail Store Support

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • Great reporting. Serial number tracking. Lots of options. When it works I love it. Too bad it does not work often enough. Now I am at least sevens in and it’s basically unusable and I am getting blown off by tech support for the hundredth time! Now I gotta try to figure out how to change software companies and I’ve got all these years of data.
  • On a positive note, the online integration of Form 4473 works smoothly once you're familiar with the process.
  • Fast response although it's slowed down considerably from 10 minutes to almost an hour. For the times That i did Talk to a CS member they were helpful
  • Their POS could be a great product if they actually tested it fully and considered the input of their users. Their YouTube videos are well made and can be helpful. CC processing ran smoothly.
  • *One stop solution (coreSTORE, coreCLEAR, coreFIRE now called coreFORCE Lite, coreILLA, their marketing (CRM/CRI) management. *Patience of the owners and customer service *Constantly evolving *Pricing coreWARE is always looking to improve their services. They listen to their customers wants and needs and if enough dealers have similar requests they integrate and update the change(s) KEEP IT UP COREWARE!!! You provide a great, caring, and customer based service.

Cons

  • They love to change things and only level 1 AI bot level tech support available. Honestly, the real AI bought is as bad as helpful as the true tech-support. Years ago we got real tech support when they changed things and broke them. Now only messages like try restarting the computer and blaming our equipment. They refuse to call and ask us to run screen recordings to send to them but we are not sure what to even record. We run out of two locations on multiple different computers, two different internet providers, and we ended up replacing all of our network equipment. We only had issue with their software but was constantly told probably just our equipment or our ISP. Oh yeah I even upgraded to fiber internet at the main store and they still said probably just slow internet is the issue.
  • It has been a frustrating experience with Core and its required interface software. The accounting functionality within Core is extremely limited, which makes integration with third-party software not just helpful, but absolutely necessary. Unfortunately, that's where the problems really begin. Some specific ongoing issues include: 1. Invoices defaulting to "Undeposited Funds" without clear reason. 2. Data inconsistently transferring—some days it simply doesn't, with no explanation. 3. Correcting a receiving report creates a duplicate rather than replacing the original, resulting in errors and duplications in the Bound Book. 4. Vendor invoices often fail to appear in QuickBooks. 5. There is no warning for duplicate invoice numbers, which increases the risk of accounting errors. 6. Customer support has been extremely slow—often taking weeks, months, or in some cases, over a year to provide meaningful assistance. Reaching an actual person when issues arise is nearly impossible, and the lack of real-time support has been a major source of frustration. 7. The interface software and Core frequently pass blame back and forth when issues arise, which only delays resolution and adds to the confusion.
  • Some tabs and buttons don't do their assigned jobs. Asking for help to get referred to a How to step by step. Some buttons on corestore is literally pointless if I have to manually do everything. Customer help has considerably slowed down.
  • Support is horrible. POS is glitchy and non-intuitive.
  • *Ease of transition and Learning curve- once you understand how the system works it’s a great experience. You have to hang in there for you to understand that this is a truly sophisticated system and with that said you need to be patient. They sure had to have patience with me and all my questions, chats, and tickets *live domestic phone customer service (most likely cost prohibited) •some bugs need to be addressed regarding in-store inventory and inventory brought into the store from online purchases. They show available fore sale, though allocated.
