About

The world’s largest digital marketplace for crypto collectibles and non-fungible tokens (NFTs), including ERC721 and ERC1155 assets. Buy, sell, and discover exclusive digital assets like Axies, ENS names, CryptoKitties, Decentraland, and more. Building brand new economies powered by true digital ownership. OpenSea is the first and largest marketplace for user-owned digital goods, which include collectibles, gaming items, domain names, digital art, and other assets backed by a blockchain. At OpenSea, we're excited about a brand new type of digital good often referred to as a non-fungible token, or NFT. NFTs have exciting new properties: they’re unique, provably scarce, liquid, and usable across multiple applications. Just like physical goods, you can do whatever you want with them! You could throw them in the trash, gift them to a friend across the world, or go sell them on an open marketplace. But unlike physical goods, they're armed with all the programmability of digital assets.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • Depth and breadth of services from picking out of 40+ blockchains to deploying and running nodes for yourself or with others to reduce costs, or staking tokens to earn yields, the suite of products and services is great both for businesses and retail holders.

Cons

  • I hope that the dashboard to run nodes will be expanded with more analytics and functionalities.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • It's supposedly the top dog but I don't see it. The bigger collections are there but they're on Rarible as well.
  • Uploading NFTs into a collection is easy. The app for the phone runs nicely. I like Coinbase Wallet to use with it.
  • OpenSea seems like it has won the market in terms of being the gold standard of where to buy and sell NFTs. Interface works well, everything is easy to use.
  • Nothing.
  • Great site. But not that easy to use & navigate. I know they are new so maybe they will get better. But if u can send payment & not get anything the. They can’t help cause of blockchain them is this new form of payment that good idk. At least at a store with receipt u get refund or credit. Here nothing & I have copy of success transaction.

Cons

  • Zero support, zero acknowledgment of help tickets. You're completely on your own so pray nothing goes wrong and what you buy actually shows up. Absolutely forget about trying to get verification. I'm on month four of their "up to 5 business days" to review. All of my other social medias are verified so there shouldn't be a problem...but I wouldn't know if there is because they don't bother responding to ANYTHING.
  • Trying to list NFTs for sale, even if you do have the hundreds of dollars for gas, results in an eternal wait to initialize your wallet. I waited all day. Nothing. No response from customer service. RIP.
  • Sometimes the site is a bit slow but other than that I don't have any issues with it. Support takes a while to get back to you.
  • Impossible to navigate. No assistance. Many people say they purchase and do not receive the item. Not even worthy of a single star.
  • I purchased Saitama inu NFT yesterday & never got it. They say nothing they can do. Terrible business. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻😡😡😡
