About

BlockWallet is a self-custodial browser extension wallet that makes it easy to surf Web3 with ease. Swap and bridge your tokens directly inside the wallet, and do so with confidence knowing that BlockWallet’s elite privacy and security infrastructure is there to back you up. They’ll protect your digital identity and help you spot scams, while you can focus on exploring Web3 with an incredibly smooth experience. They not only collect zero user data, but take it a step further by stopping others from collecting it too. With their exclusive private node infrastructure, BlockWallet sets up privacy proxies that prevent node providers from collecting personal data such as your IP address and location. BlockWallet supports all EVM-compatible chains (Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, BNB, etc.) and their tokens, with compatibility with all DApps and NFT marketplaces too. For additional security, you have the option to connect your Ledger, Trezor, or Keystone device to your account.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • I love the simplicity of the extension. Everything is customisable, and easy to set up. I 100% recommend this for any Web3 user that is looking for a secure and easy experience. They've got the right focus, great features and a really helpful support team.
  • Super easy setup and personalisation. I really enjoy the focus on privacy and security, which I think is needed in the Web3 space. No downtime, no security risks or data storing, and features that make your life easier.
  • Nothing better than a wallet that does what it's meant to do without hassle. I like the setup, it's easy to use and understand, with no over complicated steps. The support team is really helpful and they are always bringing out updates and bug fixes. Also, they have low fees and a gas tracker built-in so you know when best to transact.
  • I'm a big fan of ease and usability. I've seen how complicated wallets can be and I've been pleasantly surprised with BlockWallet. A real pro for me is their focus on privacy and security, I know most wallets focus on this a lot, as they should. But these guys really uphold user privacy. Seem to always bring out new, simple-to-use features to help keep the Web3 space a good experience.

Cons

  • I'm waiting for the mobile app. I don't use my desktop nearly as much as I use my phone.
  • Waiting on the mobile app! Just so it's easier to use, on the go.
  • I'd really like to use the same wallet on both desk-top and phone. So hopefully the mobile app comes soon.
  • Unfortunately, they don't have a mobile app, yet.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • Cregis gives our operations and finance teams a centralized way to manage digital asset wallets instead of relying on separate wallets, spreadsheets, and manual approval messages. The role-based permissions and multi-step approval workflows are particularly useful because transaction initiation, review, and authorization can be assigned to different team members.
  • We've been evaluating several enterprise crypto infrastructure providers, and Cregis stands out as one of the more complete platforms for businesses that need secure wallet infrastructure and crypto payment capabilities.
  • The approval workflows and role-based controls are very useful for our team. We can separate responsibilities between finance, operations, and management instead of having one person control the entire wallet.
  • Cregis helps us manage digital asset deposits and withdrawals for our customers. We can create receiving addresses, monitor deposits, process transfers, and organize funds across operational wallets through one system.
  • Cregis gives us a practical way to manage digital asset payments without building wallet infrastructure for each blockchain ourselves. We use the APIs for deposit addresses, transaction monitoring, fund collection, balance management, and transfers.

Cons

  • The initial setup requires careful planning. Teams need to define user roles, approval thresholds, wallet policies, and exception-handling procedures before going live. More ready-made policy templates for different business sizes would make onboarding easier.
  • Because of its extensive functionality, the initial learning curve is steeper than lightweight crypto wallet solutions.
  • Setting up policies and permissions requires some planning when you first start.
  • Cregis helps us manage digital asset deposits and withdrawals for our customers. We can create receiving addresses, monitor deposits, process transfers, and organize funds across operational wallets through one system.Fund collection is particularly useful because our team does not have to manually manage balances across a large number of customer deposit addresses.
  • The initial integration takes some technical work, especially when setting up more complex wallet structures and transaction policies. More end-to-end examples for payment settlement and reconciliation would be useful.
