About

Solving Web3 reliability and performance issues by efficiently employing the resources of hundreds of third-party node providers combined with a state-of-the-art decentralized blockchain API platform and an improved user experience. Start building on the most relevant blockchain projects in the Web3 world. Aiming at providing one of the most resilient decentralized infrastructure services and the fastest response times in the industry, Blast is making use of clustering mechanisms and third-party node geographical distribution in order to help Web3 developers in getting their infrastructure needs covered easily and allow them to focus solely on the development of their applications. Scaling is simply done by allowing more Node providers into our network. Good node behavior is enforced within our protocol by performing periodic checks and applying coercive measures for nodes that underperform, like slashing staked tokens or exclusion from the network.

About

OnFinality is a blockchain infrastructure platform that saves web3 builders time and makes their lives easier. OnFinality delivers scalable API endpoints for the biggest blockchain networks and empowers developers to automatically test, deploy, scale and monitor their own blockchain nodes in minutes. To date, OnFinality has served over 300 billion RPC requests across 70 networks including Polkadot, Ethereum, Moonbeam, Astar, Avalanche and Cosmos, and is continuously expanding these mission-critical services so developers can build the decentralised future, faster! Build Smarter with OnFinality.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • OnFinality offers a straightforward way to connect applications to blockchain networks without managing nodes in-house. The support for HTTP and WebSocket connections is useful for dApps, wallets, and backend services. For teams that need more than basic RPC access, features such as archive data, transaction tracing on supported networks, usage visibility, and dedicated-node options provide a clear path to scale.

Cons

  • The available capabilities can differ by network and plan, so developers should confirm support for specific methods, archive access, trace APIs, and rate limits before committing to production. As with any RPC provider, critical applications should also implement retries, monitoring, and fallback endpoints.
