About

BC Vault is a new generation of crypto hardware wallet that stores your private keys on a safe hardware device, whose design is tailored to the needs of both seasoned and nascent crypto investors. It embodies a reasonable blend of functionality, reliability, independence and security. BC Vault is birthed by comprehensive research, tests and the thirst to offer you a nonpareil experience. BC Vault is unlike any other crypto hardware wallet on the market right now, as it is a truly secure, easy-to-use cryptocurrency vault, which has multiple unique features, currently unavailable on other devices. It supports the most coins and tokens from all the crypto HW wallets on the market. Every shipped BC Vault device has a 1BTC bounty crypto wallet preloaded in it. In essence, every wallet has a private key for a wallet containing 1 BTC. If you can break it, you can be 1 BTC richer.

About

100% air-gapped QR code solution Cold wallet. First hardware wallet Integrated with MetaMask Mobile. By using QR code transmissions, we have eliminated potential malware infiltration risks and delivered a level of transparency that just isn't possible with Bluetooth or USB. A proprietary bank-grade Secure Element ensures your private keys never leave the Keystone. The Secure Element generates a true random number for your private keys and is vital to ensuring your crypto assets are stored in the safest way possible. Our BIP32, BIP39, and BIP44 compliant firmware is also open source. Keystone has pioneered the hardware wallet industry’s first open source Secure Element firmware. It allows you to see how private keys are derived from physically generated entropy (TRNG) and stay entirely confined within the Secure Element. Our hardware wallet application layer, device schematic (circuit diagram), and bill of materials (BOM) are also open source.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • Security measurements are on a new level. The app is simple and functional. They support all ERC20 TOKENS and many many more. They also support adding an ETH clone network. Support is very friendly and professional.
  • - no seed phrases, - encrypted backup of keys on a microSD card, - in case of theft of the microSD card, the password alone is not enough, because to unlock the encrypted backup you need the password that was entered via the computer and the PIN that was entered physically on the BC Vault, so just these two together represent the unlocking key, - custom design possibilty, - fast and excellent support (even if only by e-mail), - always new capabilities, now it is also possible to buy/swap cryptocurrencies/NFTs directly from the desktop application.

Cons

  • Actually, there is nothing that bothered me at this point.
  • - the price of custom aluminum BC Vault is quite salty, but it is worth waiting for some promotions (as I did ;D) because then the discounts are pretty nice.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • Metamask is by far the best option for DeFi but hot wallets are very risky by nature. Luckily there are several hardware wallet options for Metamask PC/Mac (Trezor and Ledger being the most popular). However, neither of those 2 companies work with Metamask mobile. This is where Keystone shines. Now you have the ability to use Metamask on the go but keep your DeFi assets safely protected by the Keystone hardware wallet. Integration with Metamask is excellent and now I am safe knowing my Metamask wallet won't be hacked.
  • 1. Great customer support with quick responses 2. Only hardware wallet got integrated with MetaMask Mobile 3. Heard that they have developed in the community more than 5 years, quite a promising brand
  • 1. The QR code is a great way to make sure that the Keystone wallet is not connected to the internet. 2. Confirming the recovery phrase is one of a kind experience, way much better than other hardware wallets I used before. 3. Open-source nature of their Secure Element makes me feel safe when I create a new wallet.
  • 100% Air gapped, Fully integrated with MetaMask, The only hardware wallet supported by MetaMask mobile. The 4-inch screen makes it very user friendly and make the transaction more transparent. Solved blind-signing. Support are very reactive.

Cons

  • The battery system needs to be upgraded.
  • 1. Doesn't have enough coin support yet, hope to see Doge in the list
  • The number of coins they support is limited right now, but it seems that they have been integrating with many soft wallets on various chains in the past few months.
  • Company app doesn't support swap, the team believe the future of blockchain is a multi-chain one, therefore, the team is aiming at become the extra security layer of all the popular software wallets.
