Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Good onboarding experience. They paid on time… that’s about the only good thing. Really, nothing other good to say about them... stay away. Cons Working with AvantStay caused me large ongoing financial losses. I signed on with them to manage two of my properties in vacation markets. They claim that they have really high occupancy rates but they do that by offering up properties for really low rates and undercutting the neighborhood. There were nights that my 3 bedroom mountain cabin was netting me $85 per night. My neighbor who has an identical home built by the same builder was commonly getting 2 - 2.5X the rental rates that I was. AvantStay always had an excuse of why that was. My 5 bedroom property that was one block off the beach in florida had literally zero bookings in the month of December 2024. People I know that owned similar sized houses around me were regularly getting 1.75-2.25X what my house was renting for. Using AvantStay for a rental management company caused me to LOSE an average of $6711 per month as they were not able to provide enough rental income to pay the mortgages or operating expenses on the two vacation market houses. Thankfully I was able to sell both houses and stop the bleeding. During the sale process I found out than one of my houses had a baseball sized whole in the roof and the other had two AC units that were not functioning along with mold that had to be remediated. Their property managers did not catch these issues. For my mountain cabin, it earned me about 43% of what they told me they could get me. My Florida house also earned 43% of what they had told me. If I had known the numbers they quoted me were total garbage, I could have sold my houses much earlier and saved about $80K in losses. Even after the huge financial losses that I took while under their care, when I sold my houses to stop the bleeding, they then told me they were charging me an early termination fee. It was part of the contract so they had every right to do that. They were sure to cover their bases by showing me snippets of the contract because for AvantStay, it seems like their contracts are more important than decency. One thing NOT in their contracts is their performance numbers. Even when they miss their targets by 57%, you as an owner have zero recourse. Getting charged a termination fee after that was like kicked in the side after already having a gaping wound. They told me that they would be waive the termination fee if the new buyer signed with them and continued the contract. Then, get this...they SEND the buyer, all my personal financial data by giving them login access to my records. The new buyer had access to all my reservations, all my statements, etc. from since I had started with AvantStay. The new owner called me and told me that after looking through the financial data, there was no way he would sign with them due to their TERRIBLE performance. I just can't believe that this company would provide all of my personal financial info to a 3rd party without consent. Is that even legal? Well I called to complain and their response was that this is their standard operating procedure and they would not have shared my private financial information if I had instructed them otherwise. WOW...just...WOW!! AvantStay takes terrible care of your property - do NOT rent to them. I just got my property back after leasing to AvantStay for 4 years…the damage is WAY beyond 4 years “wear & tear”. Find some one else!	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Hostify is a totally reliable and comprehensive platform. It includes a wide variety of automation options for property management, enhanced security and performance, excellent customer support, and is priced accordingly. In addition, it has an intuitive and easy-to-use interface. I couldn't be more pleased with the software. Hostify we can keep information uniform on all booking websites and channels automatically. I also love the Multicalendar because it gives us a great overview of past, current and future bookings. Best property management system I have found! The Unified Inbox, the channel connections, accounting module to invoice guests and owners, etc. All the tools you need to grow your business. The possibility to manage hundreds of properties from a single program and also multi units. A simple software with a multitude of tools that make my work more efficient. There are so many features very useful, to work on visibility, communications, occupancy, rates, and much more. With this platform, you can oversee every facet of your vacation rental business and even handle thousands of reservations at a time. Cons Right now I can't think of any drawbacks of the platform, I am very satisfied and I would say that Hostify is a very good choice for management. None so far. We are satisfied with the pms and the service. none. I'm very happy with the system. They are improving the software all the time, and they are very fast when there is an issue. Nothing to mention for the moment. I'm very happy with this software and the support It would be nice to have other payment platforms, but I know they are working fast on it.
