Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Authy works seamlessly to provide comprehensive protection across multiple accounts, Authy is very different from other two-step authentication platforms, as its authentication service is available for computers, with MacOS or Windows OS, this is fantastic as almost no 2FA platform has an availability for computers. The desktop app works great and I use this app to access all my accounts when I am at my computer; the mobile app I use for when I am out of my office, I can access all my accounts with the same linked Authy account on multiple devices. I liked the unique way I can regain access to my Authy passwords, by simply linking a phone number to my Authy account, I can receive a temporary code to use my Authy account on another device, no matter how much time has passed since I lost access to my passwords, I can still retrieve them with my phone number. Authy also allows you to organize and add a default name to each folder you have created to organize your accounts, you can create separate folders for each of the accounts you register, to have an order. Authy is a platform that I really liked mainly because it has improved the security of each of the accounts that I use in my company, one of the first things that I love about this platform is the availability that it has on various devices, since currently this platform is available both for iOS devices, android devices and also for computers, its availability for computers is amazing as I can have access to two step security using my computer, this feature and availability is not available by almost any authentication system two steps. Also, not only do I like the availability for computers, but also the security that you have in this application for computers, since you have to assign a five-digit pin to lock that two-step security, this way whenever you want your computer you will have to enter that password to access all registered accounts, so you will avoid the use of this platform by any unauthorized person. Another thing that I liked about this platform is how easy it is to register a new account, you can register it using a QR code but you can also use a five-digit code to register this account, the registration process of new account quite simple, and as soon as you register me you can activate that two-step security and start receiving temporary codes. My favorite part is the responsiveness. The worst aspects of 2fa is how long they usually take. This one is fast, easy and good to go. Authy is a service that has been tailored to offer us constant security for each of the accounts used for our entire company. The main reason why we started using this software was because it offered us a very good service to cover the security of several accounts simultaneously, and really, it gives us constant security for all our accounts. Next, I will mention the positive things that this platform has. 1.- one of the main positive things about this platform is regarding its version for computers, there are currently many applications that are only available for mobile devices, but this is not the case, this platform is available for both computers and for mobile devices, it is important to highlight that the version for computers works wonderfully, it has an interface similar to the version for mobile devices, in addition, the difference between both versions is that the version for computers has a security key to be able to access the accounts. Within the application for phones, there is no such key, it is important that this is present in the version for computers since many people constantly access my computer, and it is important for me to protect access to each of my accounts with a password to which only I have access. 2.- Another of the things that I like about this application is the ease with which you can recover the password from another cell phone to another device. I can link up to more than 10 accounts simultaneously, to access them with two-step security, this application allows me to link up to more than 10 accounts with no problem, currently there is no type of limit on the number of accounts that can get back into Authy, this is great. 5.- The last thing that left me quite positively impacted about this platform is how easy it is to use and how easy it is to adapt to it, when you use it for the first time, you will have access to each of the steps to follow , the application helps the user to adapt to the general interface. The app has built-in instructions for users, these instructions help the user understand how to register a new account within this app to protect it with two-step security, these instructions are great for new users. Authy is an amazing piece of software that helps you have two step security for any type of account you want to link, the way this platform provides instant security to all types of accounts is amazing, plus there is no type of limit when you want to link multiple accounts. One of the main positive things that this platform has is that you do not have to create any type of account to use it, when using this platform on a device, and linking several accounts to it, a Token will be generated, that Token will be used so that you can transfer the accounts registered in 2FA to any other device. Using this function is quite beneficial for any user, since if at any time your mobile device is damaged and you have this code saved, you can insert the code in any other device and have access to the security of the steps of the accounts that you have previously linked. Another of the characteristics that I like about this platform is the availability that it has when it comes to working on any device or operating system, I have noticed that it is also available for both Linux operating systems and macOS and Windows operating systems, this helps You can use step security on any of your accounts without having a mobile device. I love how easy it is to use this platform and also how easy it is to link a new account to it, linked to being 10+ accounts for security the steps and it has been a smooth process every time. Cons I haven't encountered any problems since I started using Authy. The platform in general is quite easy to use, anyone who starts using Authy to protect their accounts, will be able to use it normally no matter if they have used this platform before, Authy is a very easy to use service, linking new accounts for 2FA security is completely simple, which helps new users to have no problems using this platform. Currently I have not had any type of problem with this two-step authentication platform, at all times I have been able to obtain a quite positive benefit, in addition, this platform has been easy to use, at all times I have been able to register new accounts within this authentication of two steps, and I have always been able to access all these accounts, since it has an excellent user recovery system which requests a phrase to recover the account, that phrase is created when you first register on the platform. This application can be used by anyone who has access to my mobile phone, it would be great to be able to view the login history to know exactly if they have accessed my accounts without my authorization.
