Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • - Live music - Easy to access podcasts - Intuitive app design - No need to pick my music when I’m feeling indecisive - Great variety - Free
  • It is clear. I can hear it clearly. This review app requires 100 characters in this box. So, I am building one hundred characters into my response.

Cons

  • - Cant play specific songs - Limited amount of song skips
  • It is such a pain! I use Audacy to listen to KDKA AM during my morning coffee. If I bump it off while Googling, Teerting, emailing, etc i have to completely reopen the app. This is unlike the Lightner Communications and iHeart Radio apps which merely need a tap on the icon to restore the feed. With Audacy, no matter how fast I click the icon (yes, I have done speed tests) I have to start at step one, complete with the opening commercial. That commercial NEVER changes.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • We have only had Sirius for about a two years and have had no problems and we each have our favorite stations we love listening to. I personally like listening to the 70's on 7 channel and my favorite radio personality is Magic Matt who is on during the week from 6:00 AM to Noon. He really has a lot of knowledge about many things and he likes to share this with his listeners. Then my husband really likes the fairly recently added Ted, White and Booze channel. It plays tunes from the 70's, 80's and 90's. It plays mostly Rock tunes. We have been extremely happy and plan to renew this every year. Thanks Sirus for all of your great stations. TT & JT
  • The convenience of listening multiple ways. Car, computer, phone, Xbox, PlayStation, Roku, smart TV or Alexa.
  • I was a Sirus customer for 10 years, always enjoyed the convenience of picking choosing whatever type of music I was interested in at the time or news, sports, comedy etc..... The problem is their customer service reps. You try and get a situation taken care that would take a matter of a few minutes but they turn it into a thirty minute ordeal. They'll repeatedly tell they can't do this/that and what they say makes zero sense. Then when you call them out on it, they go in circles again. After thirty minutes of your blood boiling and absolute frustration due to their absolute lack of knowledge or the fact, the scripted fluff they hand just fails, they finally end up doing what you asked. After being a customer for 10 years, I ended up canceling 2 subscriptions/accounts today. Sirius knows NOTHING about looking after dedicated customers. Stupidity at it best!
  • None at this time.
  • Included in most car entertainment systems for the past 15 years Has a selection of channels, mostly by genre. Eliminates the need to scan channels outside the city.

Cons

  • There is nothing that I can think of. We have been very pleased for the entire 2+ years we have been using Sirius.
  • Now they keep taking options away. There new app is garbage. Who ever made these decisions should be fired!
  • Look up! Everything mention above. Unnecessary Aggravation!
  • I’ve been using this service for over 10 years and I have switched vehicles several times only to find out charges were still applied to my credit card. Only when my bank was investigating credit card fraud. I found that I’ve been overcharged for service on vehicle whose radio was not in use. Their technology is piss poor that that can’t figure out if a radio code is in use. SCAM.
  • Compression set too high. The limited selection of channels do not allow you to choose based on mood. Drops when you go through tunnels. Drops going under some overpasses. Drops when many trees are close to the road. Lacks Christian channels. Lacks jazz channels. Too expensive by the month, but six month subscription deals make it more reasonable.
