Arweave is a new type of storage that backs data with sustainable and perpetual endowments, allowing users and developers to truly store data forever, for the very first time. As a collectively owned hard drive that never forgets, Arweave allows us to remember and preserve valuable information, apps, and history indefinitely. By preserving history, it prevents others from rewriting it. On top of the Arweave network lives the permaweb, a global, community-owned web that anyone can contribute to or get paid to maintain. The permaweb looks just like the normal web, but all of its content, from images to full web apps, is permanent, retrieved quickly, and decentralized, forever. Just as the first web connected people over vast distances, the permaweb connects people over extremely long periods of time. No more 404s, no more stealth edits, and no more web apps that decline in quality.

DERO is a general-purpose, private, and scalable decentralized application platform that allows developers to deploy powerful and unstoppable applications, while users retain total control over their assets with complete privacy. Account balances and data are never decrypted by the blockchain. Only account owners can decrypt and access their data. Welcome to a new data privacy paradigm. With up to 60% savings for video, IPFS makes it possible to efficiently distribute high volumes of data without duplication. The average lifespan of a web page is 100 days before it's gone forever. The medium of our era shouldn't be this fragile. IPFS makes it simple to set up resilient networks for mirroring data, and thanks to content addressing, files stored using IPFS are automatically versioned. The Internet has turbocharged innovation by being one of the great equalizers in human history — but increasing consolidation of control threatens that progress. IPFS stays true to the original vision of an open, flat web by delivering technology to make that vision a reality.
