About

The Wallet app lives right on your iPhone. It’s where you securely keep your credit and debit cards, driver’s license or state ID, transit cards, event tickets, keys, and more — all in one place. And it all works with iPhone or Apple Watch, so you can take less with you but always bring more. Wallet takes full advantage of the privacy and security built into iPhone, which is designed to protect your identity and keep what’s yours yours. When you make a purchase, Apple Pay uses a unique transaction code, so your card number is never shared with a merchant or put on Apple servers. And there’s no need to carry physical cards or touch buttons in stores. So it’s safe to say you’ll feel safer.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • Apple Wallet is a great platform for hosting various payment methods. The things I liked were: 1- You can host various gift cards within this wallet, this function is very important since it allows you to add any gift card such as Amazon or Google Play within this wallet, in this way every time you go to pay for some type of service or some type of product on a page, you can use that gift card as a payment method. 2- Another thing that I liked about this platform is that it allows me to view each of the orders that I have made using the Apple Wallet payment method in real time. Every time I use this payment method, that order is automatically registered within With this wallet, I can easily check the status of each order and view the delivery date. 3- Adding new debit or credit cards within this wallet is completely simple, you just have to locate the "Add to Apple Wallet" button within the web page where you access your debit card, most banks currently have available so you can add your card to Apple Wallet. 4- It is completely safe, you can place a security pin for each of the cards or payment methods registered within Apple Wallet, in this way no person can access this information if you lend them your phone, they must have the PIN.
  • Everything. It’s is absolutely brilliant and I love it so much. Thank you Apple for making this so great.

Cons

  • The negative points about this platform were: 1- Apple Wallet does not allow you to register a new debit or credit card within this wallet manually, you cannot insert a card by entering the digits of the card, its expiration date and its security code, there is no way to register cards manually, in addition, you cannot register gift cards inside this wallet manually either, everything you have to do using the add to Apple Wallet button. 2- Another negative aspect is that the payment methods and cards linked to Apple Wallet are not modifiable from the iCloud version for computers, you cannot access your iCloud account and delete payment methods registered in your wallet, you must use the mobile device required.
  • Nothing. Nothing in the slightest. That’s my honest opinion.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • As an independent professional, I rely on PayPal as my primary gateway for receiving cross-border payments from international clients. The platform's automated withdrawal system to local Indian bank account is incredibly efficient, ensuring that my business cash flow remains consistent. Its robust security and KYC protocols provide the peace of mind necessary for managing high-value global transactions.
  • PayPal is a safe and convenient online payment method that offers many benefits. Here are some of the benefits of PayPal: 1. Security: PayPal uses advanced encryption technology to protect payment information to ensure secure online transactions. 2. Speed: PayPal facilitates online payments by allowing users to pay quickly and easily. 3. Accessibility: PayPal is available in many countries around the world and is accepted by many online merchants. 4. Buyer protection: PayPal provides buyer protection that allows consumers to be reimbursed for fraudulent transactions. 5. No transaction fees: PayPal does not charge fees for transactions between PayPal accounts, allowing users to transfer money easily and at no additional cost.
  • I like how quick and accessible it is I’ve been using it for a long time now, it’s good, I also like how I don’t have to remember card numbers.
  • I like its worldwide acceptance and its ability to get different currency into one local currency and that into associated bank account.
  • Convenient to use. You can pay and receive money from anywhere in the world. Financing is also good.

Cons

  • The main drawback is the currency conversion rat, which is often less competitive than mid-market rates for international transfers. Furthermore, while security is a plus, the occasional 24-hour hold on funds can be challenge when managing immediate operational expenses for a small business.
  • Some of the disadvantages of PayPal are: 1. High fees: PayPal often charges higher fees than other online payment options available. 2. Account Freezing Option: PayPal may freeze your account if you make a transaction that may constitute fraud or if you use the service inappropriately. 3. Processing delays: Technical or security issues can sometimes lead to delays in processing payments and refunds. 4. Foreign exchange charges: If you make international payments with PayPal, you may have to pay additional foreign exchange charges. 5. Transaction limits: PayPal may place limits on the amount of money you can send or receive. 6. Potential loss of buyer protection: If you make a payment outside of PayPal, you may lose the buyer protection offered by PayPal.
  • I didn’t have any dislikes really except I don’t really like having to put my email in every time I wish it was only the password.
  • It cuts slightly high tax otherwise nothing to complain about.
  • I changed my account now, but my account was hacked once. Fortunately, there was no financial damage because I did not put any account information, but it was almost a disaster. After that, the safety device that goes through several steps is rather reassuring.
