About
Apache Ossie is an open specification and converter toolkit for exchanging semantic metadata across analytics, business intelligence, and AI systems. Its YAML-based format describes semantic models, datasets, fields, metrics, dimensions, relationships, and SQL expressions in a portable structure. Data and analytics engineers can use compatible implementations to author, translate, and reuse these definitions across connected platforms, supporting consistent business context for reporting and AI-assisted analysis. The project is an open-source community effort under the Apache License 2.0, with available conversions depending on each platform’s implementation.

Some of these users and their stories are listed on the PoweredBy wiki page. The Apache Tomcat Project is proud to announce the release of version 10.0.10 of Apache Tomcat. This release implements specifications that are part of the Jakarta EE 9 platform.
