Pros from Real Users

Pros

  • The best thing I like about the software is that it helps to develop the code for software. It provides the environment for python coding and R programming. Also, this tool gives the easy output generating option where you can easily debug the code if there's any error.
  • If you are a Python developer then you would surely came across Anaconda once in your journey. The pros that I find with Anaconda is the tools it provides. Basically it fulfills all your requirements. Also managing and installing packages is also very simple with anaconda. It is best for Data analysts and Data scientists.
  • You can all sort of the DevOps work with ease and in a single place. It is powerful and very easy to use. It gives you generic options.
  • You can do nearly any ML work via anaconda using python. It supports all kinds of algorithms and helps a lot of plugins to make development seamless.
  • You can do any Python development on Anaconda. You can integrate your project written in Python and use ML tools to develop it accordingly. It is compelling and fully feature-packed.
  • This is probably the best Python IDE right now. You can use it for basic python programming, machine learning projects, python notebooks, etc. It is easy to use. Managing packages and libraries with this is very easy and also it is free of cost.
  • Finding and installing python libraries and frameworks is very easy with this software. And the most liked feature of mine is the python notebooks. Comes with different tools for Data science, AI and ML.
  • Anaconda's somehow become an essential part of my repertoire. There's the Jupyter notebook, which I use anytime I wish to examine my data structures and data frames, and manipulate matrixes. There's the conda package manager, which comes in handy when trying to use different cutting edge research github repositories (seriously, some of these use wildly different package versions of OpenCV, Keras, Tensorflow, and whatnot... thank goodness you can just stick it all in a custom conda environment for each project).
  • (+) Integration with most of the python based developer tools. All of those tools can be found within anaconda like Spyder, Jupyter notebooks, and many more. (+) Great UI and UX. The interface is quite good. (+) All of the latest python packages can be found easily. Support to the old and latest version of python.

Agentic AI Supported

Anaconda helps enterprises build, secure, and run AI agents without giving up control of models, data, or cost. Kilo by Anaconda puts agents to work planning, building, debugging, reviewing, and shipping across VS Code, JetBrains, the terminal, and Kilo Desktop, with 500+ models and intelligent routing. Kilo has more than 5 million developers and processes about 10 trillion tokens a month. Enkrypt AI by Anaconda red-teams agents and MCP connections before release, governs which tools and data each agent can reach, and applies runtime guardrails. AI Artifacts supplies trusted MCPs and curated models, and AI Orchestration moves agentic workflows into production with lineage and cost tracking.

Agents that work in a demo still need repeatable, governed workflows before they can run in production. Anaconda AI Orchestration turns agentic and AI projects into traceable workflows that move from development to production across cloud, hybrid, on-premises, and sovereign environments, tracking models, lineage, artifacts, resources, and cost along the way. It is built on Metaflow, which originated at Netflix. Enkrypt AI by Anaconda red-teams agents and their MCP connections before release, governs agent access to tools and data by policy, and applies guardrails at runtime. Builders create the agents themselves with Kilo by Anaconda, using 500+ models and trusted MCPs from AI Artifacts.

AI Development Supported

Anaconda helps enterprises build AI applications and agents faster on a trusted foundation, without locking them into one model or cloud. Builders work in the tools they already use: Kilo by Anaconda puts AI agents to work planning, building, debugging, reviewing, and shipping across VS Code, JetBrains, the terminal, and Kilo Desktop, with 500+ open and closed models and routing that balances performance and cost. AI Artifacts supplies vetted Python packages, curated AI models, and trusted MCPs, so teams start from known-good components. Enterprise policies, access controls, and budgets follow the work, and AI Orchestration moves finished projects into production as repeatable, traceable workflows across cloud, hybrid, on-premises, and sovereign environments.

AI Gateways Supported

Anaconda gives enterprises one governed path to many models. Through Kilo by Anaconda, builders choose from 500+ open and closed models, including OpenAI, Anthropic, and NVIDIA Nemotron, and route each request to an approved model that balances performance and cost. Administrators decide which models teams can use, and budgets and access controls follow developers across VS Code, JetBrains, the terminal, and Kilo Desktop. Enkrypt AI by Anaconda adds runtime guardrails that detect and block unsafe inputs and outputs, and enforces policy on agent access to tools and data. Teams avoid locking into one model provider and keep visibility into what each model costs as usage scales.

AI Governance Supported

Anaconda governs AI across packages, models, agents, development environments, and production workflows, and that governance follows AI across vendor, tool, cloud, and infrastructure boundaries. Security and license policies decide which packages, models, and MCPs teams can use. Runtime policy controls agent access to tools and data. AI Orchestration tracks models, lineage, artifacts, resources, and cost from development to production, so teams can explain what is running, how it was built, and what it can access. SBOMs and AIBOMs give compliance teams continuous, audit-ready evidence instead of point-in-time reviews. Builders keep their familiar tools and model choices while enterprise policy applies automatically.

AI Guardrails Supported

Enkrypt AI by Anaconda applies runtime guardrails that detect and block unsafe behavior in models, agents, and their tool calls, all governed by one policy engine. Before anything ships, it autonomously red-teams models, agents, and MCP connections against more than 300 attack categories. At runtime, it enforces policy on which tools and data each agent can reach, and continuous monitoring produces audit-ready compliance evidence. Enkrypt AI was recognized as a Gartner Cool Vendor in AI Security and is an OpenAI compliance integration partner. Its research team scanned 268,000+ tools across 25,000 MCP servers in two months and found 143,000+ vulnerabilities affecting 73% of those servers.

AI Inference Supported

Inference costs grow fast once AI reaches production. Anaconda helps teams match each workload to the right model and infrastructure. Builders choose from 500+ open and closed models through Kilo by Anaconda, and routing sends each task to an approved model that balances performance and cost. Anaconda delivers the NVIDIA CUDA software stack as version-matched Python packages, so GPU-accelerated environments install with a single command. AI Orchestration deploys models and workflows across cloud, hybrid, on-premises, and sovereign infrastructure, lets you switch targets without rebuilding, and tracks resource use and cost as workloads scale. Runtime guardrails from Enkrypt AI by Anaconda detect and block unsafe model behavior.

AI Orchestration Supported

Anaconda AI Orchestration turns AI projects into repeatable, traceable workflows that move reliably from development to production. Run workflows across cloud, hybrid, on-premises, and sovereign environments, switch deployment targets without rebuilding, and keep control of your infrastructure. Every run tracks models, lineage, artifacts, resources, and cost, so platform teams can see what is running and what it consumes as workloads scale. AI Orchestration is built on Metaflow, which originated at Netflix, where it supports 3,000+ AI and ML projects and has executed hundreds of millions of compute jobs, and thousands of companies use Metaflow worldwide. Reproducible environments from AI Artifacts keep production consistent with development.

AI Security Supported

Anaconda helps security teams let AI adoption move quickly without creating unmanaged risk. Enkrypt AI by Anaconda autonomously red-teams models, agents, and MCP connections against more than 300 attack categories before release, then applies runtime guardrails that detect and block unsafe behavior. Agent access to tools and data is governed by enforceable policy, and continuous monitoring produces audit-ready compliance evidence. Security also covers what AI is built from: AI Artifacts provides Python packages and open-source models built and verified from source, with vulnerability scanning, dependency intelligence, SBOMs, and AIBOMs. In two months, Enkrypt AI scanned 268,000+ tools across 25,000 MCP servers and found 143,000+ vulnerabilities affecting 73% of those servers.

AI Workspaces Supported

Anaconda AI Workspaces give builders trusted packages, models, agents, and reproducible environments in the tools they already use, so they spend less time on setup and more time building. Kilo by Anaconda puts AI agents to work planning, building, debugging, reviewing, and shipping across VS Code, JetBrains, the terminal, and Kilo Desktop while keeping context between them. Builders choose from 500+ AI models, and routing sends work to approved models to control spend. Enterprise policies, identity, access controls, and budgets follow the work across tools, so builders get freedom within policy. AI Artifacts supplies 19,000+ vetted Python packages, curated models, and trusted MCPs. Kilo has more than 5 million developers.

Anaconda gives training workloads a reproducible, GPU-ready foundation. AI Artifacts supplies 19,000+ vetted Python packages built from source, and Anaconda delivers the NVIDIA CUDA software stack as version-matched packages, so the same environment runs on a workstation and on a cluster. AI Orchestration, built on Metaflow from Netflix, runs training as repeatable, traceable workflows with scalable compute across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises infrastructure. It tracks experiments, models, lineage, artifacts, resources, and cost, so teams can reproduce any result and see what each run consumed. Curated open-source models evaluated against benchmarks give teams a vetted starting point for fine-tuning.

Anaconda provides the Trusted AI Foundation enterprises use to build, secure, and operate AI at scale on their own terms. Most AI stacks grow one tool at a time, and what works in a prototype gets hard to reproduce, secure, and run in production. Anaconda works across the models, tools, clouds, and infrastructure you already use. AI Workspaces and Kilo by Anaconda give builders governed packages, models, and agents in familiar tools. AI Security & Guardrails red-teams models, agents, and MCP connections before release and applies guardrails at runtime. AI Orchestration runs repeatable, traceable workflows from development to production, and AI Artifacts supplies 19,000+ vetted Python packages, curated models, and MCPs. More than 50 million users and 95% of the Fortune 500 build on Anaconda.

Data Science Supported

Anaconda has been the trusted Python foundation for enterprise data science for more than a decade, and more than 50 million users build on it. Data scientists get 19,000+ vetted packages, reproducible conda environments, and notebooks, while IT gets centralized security and license policies, vulnerability tracking, and SBOMs for everything teams install. Kilo by Anaconda adds AI agents that help explore data, run experiments, and write and debug code in VS Code, JetBrains, the terminal, or Kilo Desktop, with 500+ models to choose from. When analysis turns into a production pipeline, AI Orchestration runs it as a repeatable, traceable workflow. Anaconda packages are also available through Snowflake Snowpark, Amazon SageMaker, and Microsoft Azure.

Machine Learning Supported

Machine learning teams use Anaconda to get from experiment to production without rebuilding environments at every step. AI Artifacts supplies 19,000+ vetted Python packages built from source with documented dependencies, including GPU-accelerated NVIDIA CUDA packages that install with a single command. Reproducible environments mean a model trained on a laptop behaves the same on a cluster. AI Orchestration, built on Metaflow, turns training and evaluation code into repeatable, traceable workflows and tracks models, lineage, artifacts, resources, and cost. You can run those workflows across cloud, hybrid, on-premises, and sovereign environments and switch targets without rewriting them. Security scanning and SBOMs cover the open-source packages your models depend on.

Many promising models never reach production because each deployment target means rebuilding environments and pipelines. Anaconda AI Orchestration turns ML projects into repeatable, traceable workflows that move from development to production across cloud, hybrid, on-premises, and sovereign environments, and lets you switch deployment targets without rebuilding. It is built on Metaflow, which originated at Netflix, where it supports 3,000+ AI and ML projects and has executed hundreds of millions of compute jobs. Reproducible environments built from vetted packages keep production consistent with development. Teams track models, lineage, artifacts, resources, and cost, and Enkrypt AI by Anaconda validates models before release and guards them at runtime.
