Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • This is extremely versatile useful when it decides to work. The subscription is only about $20 a month, which is not bad at all.
  • Adobe InDesign is the industry leader for desktop publishing. It's loaded with features and continues to improve with each update they release.
  • After using InDesign for 10+ years, I find it to be so intuitive. Continuous text boxes are so easy, the smart guide system is awesome, super easy to track down broken linked graphics.
  • If you want to make sure the content and the appearance of what you write looks appealing and interesting you should go for it. Easy to use and plenty of tools for the best experience.
  • InDesign makes it very simple to handle multi page designs like user manuals, brochures, magazines etc. that have multiple sections with separate layouts and themes. Definitely a better tool than using Photoshop.

Cons

  • Usually crashed or would recall a project and immediately say the project is unreachable.
  • There is a steep learning curve to using the software if you've never used it before.
  • Embarrassingly, it took me years to figure out that the reason my PDFs always saved with pixelated graphics was because of a compression setting in the Export window - it doesn't make a lot of sense to me that the default option would be majorly compressed. But that was kind of a personal problem/operator error!
  • It could be cheaper, and the option of direct publication should e there. Other than this, it is quite amazing.
  • You're in for a frustrating experience of you're coming from Photoshop. InDesign is great but takes time to get used to.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • The gear to be had allow for anything you wish to layout to be completed, I have been using Photoshop for round 2 years and feature never searched for an opportunity software given that I began using it. I had been capable to finish all assignments given to me and the big range of tools available permit me to complete my responsibilities to a very high and expert trendy. Furthermore, the potential to shop any piece of work in your laptop or at the cloud as the perfect layout is also very beneficial, this means that you may design pieces that can be used for online purposes or as revealed posters and even billboards if essential. In my opinion, that is the satisfactory platform available to image designers to apply for their work however is likewise exquisite for informal users (which I became to begin with).
  • 1. It is equipped with features that let you do the edit, retouch, or manipulation of the raw image. 2. The file can be exported to any format or can be further resized, optimized, or compressed. 3. There is a wide range of color palettes that lets you get creative with the tone of the image. 4. There are many effects available for blur, lighting, texture, and other effects on your image. 5. Masking and cropping of the image are very straightforward.
  • It has the best tools in this sector. You can make a photo completely a piece of art with the editing tools. It has the most optimum editing results one can have. The interface is very user friendly.
  • I have been using it for editing photographs and adding graphical layers to them. It gives an excellent finish in my work, and the tools are so well designed it makes my work easy and very precisely accurate. Moreover, you will always find a tool to match your creative ideas while editing.
  • Adobe Photoshop is extraordinary compared to other photograph altering programming's out there and now it is more moderate than it has ever been before.

Cons

  • The maximum obvious trouble with this software is the fee, as now not simplest is it costly but it does now not include one constant sum however alternatively installment payments. However I sense that that is justified by using the overall fine of the products as well as the preliminary loose trial and offers which can be to be had to the consumer. In addition to this, it can be complicated to perform as a first time consumer as the wide sort of tools and options it gives can seem overwhelming to first time customers; despite this, this trouble may be overcome by using following the various loose Photoshop training and tutorials to be had on YouTube as an example.
  • 1. The software is very overwhelming to use at first because of the user interface. 2. It uses the cache very heavily and because of that a large amount of system memory gets occupied by the software.
  • The price could be more reasonable. You need a very high-end system to use the full potential of this software.
  • It is slightly expensive. It has a huge source code, Which's why it lags a lot during heavy graphical editing. Tools are overwhelming, and One gets confused easily.
  • Photoshop needs a more modest rendition for PCs that help clients to do some little things like editing a picture or shading change them.
