Overall, it's the top software for minimizing manual processes. Provides a consolidated platform for managing activities across several environments, apps, etc. Because of automation, manual involvement is considerably decreased, resulting in fewer manual mistakes. Schedules jobs and maintains workflow. Streamlining the process. Eliminates repetitious workflow, which streamlines the process. Highly secure. Regular scanning of endpoint security components Scheduling and controlling workflow. The manual hours have been decreased from 20 to 5 hours. The program is adaptable for integration with a variety of different applications and services. The reduction in coding is substantial in numerous cases. Once a specific job is created, it can be easily duplicated with minimal adjustments. The scheduler provides extensive and flexible options. ActiveBatch demonstrates exceptional reliability and scalability for all our automation tasks. The tool excels in service management and intelligent automation, effectively scheduling complex jobs and effortlessly handling heavy server workloads, showcasing its robust stability. Its standout feature is its capability to initiate jobs once nightly warehouse batch processes are finished. It offers an impressive array of utilities such as file transfer systems, job schedulers, and other triggers that are highly effective. ActiveBatch offers numerous customization options that are extremely useful for automating our workloads. We use this tool to automate Informatica workflows, database jobs, and shell scripts. ActiveBatch enables you to create a more streamlined process. It provided me with insight into all my tasks, allowing me to select which ones to execute concurrently. ActiveBatch's capability to automate routine and repetitive tasks is effective. It handles this process quite well. Much of our work involves downloading files from SFTP servers and transferring them to our local file servers.		Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros I like Smartsheet’s flexibility in handling various type of workflows and projects. It also provides a well organized dashboard which makes project management easy. Has a wide range of features and capabilities, allowing users to easily keep track of tasks, assign resources, manage timelines and more. UI is intuitive and easy to use, and the data is easily accessible and customizable. Additionally, there's a wide range of integrations and third-party applications that allow users to extend their project management capabilities. The Smartsheet platform is incredibly easy to use. The training and onboarding process was simple. Its user interface is minimalistic. Assigning tasks to groups or individuals is incredibly easy. Its to-do tasks reminder works great. Easy to create groups for multiple projects. There's a lot of potential if you're a spreadsheet nerd. With some features baked in, like red flags for overdue tasks, Smartsheet can be a good project management tool for some. There is very little that Excel can do that Smartsheet can't, but plenty that Smartsheet can do that Excel can't. The biggest positive impact we experienced after implementing Smartsheet is team productivity. It enhances our ability and saves lots of time. The user interface is very responsive. The automation functionality works as promised. Cons My experience with Smartsheet has been great and the system has wide ranging possibilities, so i have no cons. Can be expensive, and the cost can add up quickly if you need additional features or integrations. Additionally, the user interface can be a bit overwhelming at first and it may take some time to learn all the features and capabilities. Never faced any major issues while using the Smartsheet platform. A critical feature for any project management tool is the ability to create sub-tasks within a task. This can be done, but just doesn't really work the same way other PM tools does. It's highly manual, and adjusting formatting can be a huge pain. For as powerful as it is, you really have to dedicate a lot of time to figure out how to use even the basic features. One small thing that I don't like is the slow loading speed. Sometimes the dashboard text appears very late.
