Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros As the Vice President of Operations in the Medical industry in Poland, I’ve been using AMFG for a year now. This platform has really streamlined our production workflows, ensuring everything is secure and organized. It offers full traceability and helps us manage complex parts and post-processing jobs effectively. Plus, it keeps track of reprints and integrates smoothly with our machines, which has boosted our efficiency and cut down on errors. AMFG also promotes transparency across departments, making sure everyone stays aligned and informed. I've been using AMFG for about a year and a half here in the USA, where I work as the Head of Supply Chain Operations in the Production industry. AMFG really shines with its real-time monitoring features, which allow us to make quick, data-driven decisions. It helps us maintain repeatable 3D printing processes, ensures that we have consistent quality across different batches, and provides solid analytics to enhance our workflow and printer usage. I've been using AMFG for about 10 months now in the automotive industry as a CNC Machinist here in the USA. This platform has really streamlined our production workflows and quality control processes. It’s super easy to keep track of post-processing jobs, manage reprints, and uphold our strict quality standards. Plus, the security features do a great job of protecting sensitive information. Overall, AMFG has helped us save time, cut down on errors, and boost efficiency in our daily operations. As the Head of Production in the Aerospace sector, I've been using AMFG for the past three months here in the USA, and I can honestly say it has made a remarkable difference in our production and inventory management. Thanks to AMFG, we've been able to shorten our quoting times, minimize production errors, and effectively support our growth strategy. Cons On the downside, the setup process can be a bit of a maze, with multiple steps and pages that might confuse new users and take up a lot of time. I think the operator interface could use some enhancements, like a “do today” view to help prioritize tasks better. One downside is that the platform's change management capabilities are somewhat limited. Making adjustments to ongoing print jobs in real time isn’t as flexible or user-friendly as it could be. The biggest downside I’ve encountered is the initial setup process, which can be a bit tricky. Configuring the machines requires multiple steps across different pages, and it’s easy to accidentally misconfigure some settings. A more straightforward, step-by-step setup guide would really help new users get onboarded more smoothly and lessen the learning curve. One area that could use some work is managing customer expectations. While AMFG does a fantastic job of optimizing our internal processes, there are times when customers have certain assumptions about what's feasible, which can lead to misunderstandings. Providing more guidance on the customer-facing order features would really help improve communication and transparency. That said, the system can be a bit finicky when it comes to misconfigurations, which makes long-term maintenance a bit tricky. Also, the documentation could use some improvement, especially for those advanced workflow setups; clearer instructions would definitely make onboarding and troubleshooting a lot smoother.	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros The platform is very practical and easy to use. Adaptable to the needs of each company. It is user-friendly. What I liked most about GW Apps was how much it improved our internal workflow and operational visibility. It helped reduce the time needed for client reports, invoicing, and customer renewals, which made day-to-day processes much more efficient. The platform also made it easier to track activities and maintain better control across different areas of the business. Another major advantage was the quality of information provided to management, which became clearer, more organized, and more useful for decision-making. I really like GW Apps relatively intuitive approach to building workflow-centric apps. I knew how to begin getting results almost immediately. GW Apps manages be powerful at the same time. There aren't many use cases in this realm that it can't handle. For those that it can't out-of-the-box, its API makes leveraging another low-code platform like Make.com easy. Finally, their support is second to none, and really cements the tremendous value of the product. Cons You need time to know how to take advantage of all the benefits and I believe that with very good training the tool will be better appreciated. I do not really have a negative point about GW Apps itself, because their team was always responsive and supportive with our requests. The main challenge was internal adoption on our side. Some people in our company were not familiar with this level of automation, so it was sometimes difficult for them to fully understand the information and requirements needed by the GW Apps engineers to successfully build the platform for IMOGLO PAE. More front end design options would be welcome, such as the ability to move buttons. Could use an overall design refresh on the front end, but current design doesn't detract from the functionality for the most part.
