Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Finally I don't have to remember passwords for desktop and website logons! No honeypots of passwords (like everyone has!). Two way authentication. Proves who I am, and who I'm connecting too. No more calls to the helpdesk to reset my passwords! It's a bit like magic once you are set up. Instead of having to remember different usernames, different passwords, and then use the multifactor program, Cipherise does it all in one action and I can use any computer from my work laptop to my home computer without needing to install anything on them. Strong Security, ensuring mutual authentication. Convenience: eliminated usernames and passwords, allowing access multiple systems with a single login. Cost-Effective: eliminated our expensive hardware tokens and other security measures. Reduced Risk of Cyberattacks: if a service is Cipherised, the attack is limited to one user on one system, reducing the risk of cyberattacks. I point my camera at the QR code and I’ve logged in. I’ve not had to open up a secondary app like google authentication and put in random numbers. Once set up correctly, I don’t need to remember multiple passwords again. I recently changed hardware and managed to re-login to services with ease. Cons Super secure OneTick is a difficult concept to grasp....to begin with. When I first used FaceID to log in it happened so quick that I didn't get a chance to check the message. Then I discovered you could set it to touch the screen first before it did FaceID. I think that should be on by default. Only supports iOS and Android devices, our exec won't get rid of his BlackBerry. QR code sometimes takes 1 second to load. I’d rather it be instant. The advanced setting and Onetick require getting used to but once you know what you need to do you get used to it.
