Simple Test featuring Yaler and Zolertia's Z1 mote Brief: This temperature logger runs at 1Hz, reporting back its reading via serial to a script that forwards it using Yaler services. Preliminaries: * Get a Yaler account: yaler.net * Anotate the Relay Domain provided * Connect a Z1 mote, identify in which port is connected (run motelist command, port is /dev/ttyUSBx) To run the test: * execute: python yaler-templogger.py try.yaler.net <Relay Domain> /dev/ttyUSBx * Don't close the process, open in a web browser (Firefox, Chrome): try.yaler.net/<Relay Domain> * Refresh the page, see the temperature readings If you wish to verufy what the heck the mote is sending to Internet, close/stop the script, and run: serialdump -b115200 /dev/ttyUSBx Contact tamberg@yaler.net for advance features, more relay domains, secure access, and more.
