This is a function library for scripting in ASH, the scripting language of KoLmafia (a sanctioned tool for automating the browser game Kingdom of Loathing). It trivializes many otherwise non-trivial tasks script authors may wish to add to their scripts.
Note: it is not the compression library of the same name, which I was unaware of at the time of creating this script, Apologies if you came here looking for that, but changing the name at this point would be awkward for countless scripts that are already importing this library.

Warning: looks like you've taken-over the traditional zlib (i have some scripts pointing to sourceforge.net/projects/zlib/files/zlib/1.2.8/zlib-1.2.8.tar.gz which does not exists anymore). For everyone else => go to zlib.netReply from ZLibPosted 2021-08-18
That's unfortunate. Not sure why Sourceforge would point a different project to mine -- if it had the same name I shouldn't have been able to create it to begin with. Also not sure what I can do about it. I've added some info to the description letting people know this is not that library, which should help a bit, at least. -
ianstas simply didn't read the project information. No, this is not zlib the compression library. But it's not a js script either. It's used exclusively for KoLmafia, (a helper application for those interested in playing Kingdom of Loathing, <www dot kingdomofloathing dot com> @ianstas: Try to understand something before you criticize it.

The go to resource for writing KoLmafia scripts. Thanks to ZLib many mafia scripts don't need to re-invent the wheel and can make better scripts.

This is not zlib, this is a js library that couldn't find a proper name.
